Topic: Electrolux Front Loader Washing Machine Posted: 03 May 2010 at 10:17am |
Our washing machine is dying and we are looking at getting a sparkly new Electrolux Front Loader.
My question is......Does anyone have a Electrolux Washing Machine and if so how do you find it?
I know this should be in the product reviews but the traffic seems bigger in here so thought I would post in General

Hi
We had one but ended up selling it after about 6 months, I liked it but it took ages to do a wash and the "quick" cycle was still about 40 minutes - even if it was only a small load. It did look after your clothes a lot better. DH loathed it!!! He said it took way too long and he hated the fact you couldn't add things once you had started.
We went back to a top loader

We have the samsung one which is made by the same people, I love it except that it isnt the best for washing cloth nappies because of the low water level it uses. Other than that it is great, quiet, washes well and the wash time isnt that bad, but then we had been living in the UK where front loaders are the norm.

We've got a Miele Front Loader and would never use a top loader. I'm from Germany and we don't have toploaders so front load is all I know and want.
I don't have an issue with the length of cycle as long as my washing is clean and doesn't go grey and funny.
It does have a quick cold wash cycle wich goes for 15 minutes. Other than that you can adjust the temps up to 90C if needed.
I love it!

We've got a Whirlpool front loader, had it for a few years. I love it, would never go back to a top loader - clothes seem to come out cleaner and it's a lot gentler, I can throw merino baby clothes in on the wool wash without any problems. Only downside is once you've started a load of washing you can't pause it to chuck in anything you've forgotten...

We have a Bosch front loader and wouldn't got back to top loader again. Yes the cycles are longer, but one of the reasons for this is that it heats its own hot water.

Yes, we do.
Pros - washes well - cheap on water if you are on tank or pay for it
Cons - AGES to wash - 55mins is our fast wash. and you can only use persil low suds - costs us a fortune.

no help with the brand you've chosen... we have a fysher pyakel (sp) front loader always had a top loader thought I'd give a front loader a go and would never go back. Our quick cycle is 30mins, you can cancel a wash but it drains the water so not worth doing it - unless you see a red in with your whites ;)

We've got one. LOVE IT!
Definately takes longer for a cycle, so you have to organised, but it's really gentle on the clothes, heats its own water so saves electricity and gets things really clean.
Would never look back!
