I have read somewhere that you shouldn't use barrier cream for nappy rash with MCN's as they affect the absorbancy. Does anyone know if it would it be OK to use barrier cream if using one of those flushable liners?

The MCN's I'm using are a selection of itti's, pea pods, real nappies, babycheeks and homemade pocket nappies.

It is perfectly fine to use flushable or washable liners when using a barrier cream :)

I don't have liners and don't bother with barrier creams when using my PP.

I do switch to disposables when she has nappy rash and use barrier creams occasionally.

But just use warm water and allow the bum to air.

Yep, I've had to start putting some cream on DS bottom and have been putting a washable liner on with no problems at all.

I hated having to use sposies for the couple of days I did before I got the liners
