It's a boy if:
You didn't experience morning sickness in early pregnancy
Your baby's heart rate is less than 140 beats per minute
You are carrying the extra weight out front
Your belly looks like a basketball
Your areolas have darkened considerably
You are carrying low
You are craving salty or sour foods
You are craving protein -- meats and cheese
Your feet are colder than they were before pregnancy
The hair on your legs has grown faster during pregnancy
Your hands are very dry
Your pillow faces north when you sleep
Dad-to-be is gaining weight, right along with you
Pregnancy has you looking better than ever
Your urine is a bright yellow in color
Your nose is spreading
You hang your wedding ring over your belly, it moves in circles
You are having headaches
You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived the number is even
It's a girl if:
You had morning sickness early in pregnancy
Your baby's heart rate is at least 140 beats per minute
You are carrying the weight in your hips and rear
Your left breast is larger than your right breast
Your hair gets red highlights
You are carrying high
Your belly looks like a watermelon
You are craving sweets
You are craving fruit
You crave orange juice
You don't look quite as good as normal during pregnancy
You are moodier than usual during pregnancy
Your face breaks out more than usual
You refuse to eat the heel of a loaf of bread
Your breasts have really blossomed!
Your pillow faces south when you sleep
Your urine is a dull yellow in color
If you hang your wedding ring over your belly, it moves from side to side
If you add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived the number is odd
Found this on another site, and thought what the heck! I can't work out which I am at all

Hmmmmm well I haven't tried the ring thing but I guess some of these things are true, but some I'm not toooo sure about.
K I had morning sickness early in pregnancy, and it lasted into my 2nd trimester. I've craved potatoes, fruit, lollies........so thats a bit confusing. My pee (ewww TMI lols) has been both light n dark (dark urine is due to dehydration, so I've read). Hmmm I do seem to be plumper around the hips n bum .....dunno if my tumms looks like a watermelon though lolz.
And I'm having a girl..............so I would probably just rely on the anatomy scan......though even sometimes they get that wrong lolz.
Interesting post though

Hmmmm, i'm a bit of everything. HB thing is true when I had Andrew his was always slower, i'm craving both salt and apples (fruit) so who knows. I was also told boys are a lot more active in the womb than girls. That is one reason I am sure i'm having another boy.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I get 5 points for a boy and 8 points for a girl lol. I do think I'm having a girl though. Didn't try the ring test, I was never quite sure about the results on the other times (other babies) I've tried and anyway it feels really silly We'll see... I'm supposed to be able to find out on 10 October but it'll be my third try

I read all of those when I was preggy and it was pretty much equal symptoms for both, even though I thought I was having a boy (you know when you get that feeling where you just KNOW what it is).
I had a girl

A patient I see from the Cook Islands did this thing withmy first name and my husbands name, and he has stated catagorically that it is a girl. He has a 8 out of 8 success rate with predicting sexes of babies with colleagues .
I must say my anatomy scan also pointed towards us having a girl. I have no idea what he did, he would not divulge his secret, but says it only works with first children, not subsequent siblings.
Other than that I do score higher on girl traits here than boys, so maybe Tonga is right

with caitlyn (who was a girl, obviously) my areolas were dark, my stomach looked like a basket ball and my extra weight was out the front, i craved sweet foods but then also fatty foods...im not sure i took much notice of what way my pillow was facing, and if my feet were cold i probably put it down to not having socks on.
unfortunatley i think the only way to tell, if baby will let u , is a scan.
But its still fun to guess
