I think there's a big party supplies place behind the Mobil on Old Taupo Rd... I'm not sure what it's called though and I've never been in there, it was just recommended to me once when I was looking for some fancy candles.

Cool thanks, will have a look at both those places tomorrow when I go in for groceries. Only trouble with spotlight is there is so much tempting fabric there lol.

Aj's Emporium has heaps of party stuff - it is like a huge $2 shop but some stuff is more than $2 but still cheap if if that makes sense

The place behind the Mobil is Andy's party hire - their stuff is expensive but if you want a shaped cake tin they are like $10 to hire :)
