Has any one else had problems with the Dryup nappies and trainers from Babyonline/Nappies for less? I brought 3 boxes in different sizes from the store (I hve 3 kids in nappies!)to give them a go. I counted the nappies in each box when I got home only to find their was 3 nappies missing in the 1st box..18 nappies missing in the 2nd box..the last box was fine. Suggest counting yr nappies if you do buy from their!!
Secondly..I brought the medium nappy..on a few of them so far the tab has come away from where it attaches to the back of the nappy...useless cause then it has leaked..and on the girls dryup Junior Trainers the easy pull apart side on quite a few have been to easy and pull apart on their own, ..which then fall off and cant be done back up! When I posted these problems on their face book page....it has disappeared, lol..guess they didnt want people to know! (In regards to the nappies missing, I rang the shop and was able to go down and claim the MISSING nappies!)

i wish i had read this post this morning. i just ordered 3 boxes of nappies from them. 1 box of medium nappies and 2 boxes of girls pull ups. (I have 2 kids in nappies. 3 kids must be hard work!!) Will let you know what they're like. Only bought them because they are cheap. Have used their nappies before. They are okay but not brilliant.

Will be keen to know how yours go..they have been ok nappies except for those problems..but u have to make sure you do change them regularly or they leak. Let me know if you have any issues..or if there are any nappies missing from your order..I brought from the store (Whangarei)..I suspect its possible the guy is taking nappies from the boxes hes sent and packing new packages up to sell cause they sell ones in clear bags in 10/20 packs etc... and guess people dont normally count the nappies in the box..lol..I did ring the o800 number to let them know cause the guy said he wasnt going to let them know...he said it just happens sometimes...18 nappys missing from one box??? thats not a miscount..the nappys are hand packed.

i ended up changing my order and just got 3 boxes of ordinary nappies. They are okay but when I put them on our older kid (nearly 3) they sometimes leak at night. I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to nappies.

I haven't had time to count how many nappies came in the box. am most impressed that you found the time to do this!

With our baby we've been splashing out and putting his precious little bottom in treasures nappies. I have to say that this time around we've had far less leaks which means less washing. I tend to buy boxes of treasures at the supermarket - but only when they are on sale. Would love to know what brand of nappies other mums like or dislike. Sometimes when I go to the supermarket I stand there and stare at all the nappies wondering what's the best choice. Has anyone tried those parallel imported huggies?

I converted back to Treasures when my dryups ran out, but even on special with 3 kids in nappies it costs a sml fortune. Luckily Miss 3 & a half has finally sat on the potty!! Great when where hm, but still in nappies at night, when we go out and for kindy mornings, wk in progress... I hve just ordered more Dryups, this time different sizes to give it one more try cause price wise when they hve their specials on them they r very cost effective, (but wld never buy their nappies at full price)and will hve treasures/huggies on hand for night wearing. If I hve the enormous amounts of leaks/changing of clothes again..im afraid it will b the end of this brand. I hve ordered the Nappies online this time..the Whangarei Shop is Awful! Dark and Dingy, unhelpful..no wander no ones ever in there. And just as I type this the courier has JUST arrived with my order..the count of Nappies per box will begin shortly, lol.

I have tried the imported Huggies from the Warehouse..it was about a year and a half ago tho...I remember we didn't like them, they arnt quite the same as the ones fRm the supermarket, but for the life of me I cant remember what it was we didn't like..I just know I wont buy them again. You can give it a go thou and see what you think.

We sometimes buy the cheap nappies from Pak N Slave, think its the Pams brand..have had no issues with these..infact they have been great. They don't come small enough for our youngest but have been good for the other 2, however theirs only about 16 or 18 nappies I think per pack. Full price about $8.99 but often on special for $5.99, which is when I get them.

Oh the Nappy dilemma is never ending, lol...and wont be ending anytime soon in our family :-)

three kids in nappies? that's got to be hard work not to mention pricey. It's bad enough having two of them in nappies. I had hoped the bigger kid would have been out of them months ago but she's just not ready despite my best attempts to bribe....er reward her with stickers, chocolate etc
How did you get your three year old to use the potty?
Sometimes it feels like it's a military operation to leave the house with changes of clothes, nappies, snacks for two little ones. blah blah blah.
Thanks for the info about the other nappies you've tried.

Yea, I had hoped the eldest wld have been out of nappies about 5 months ago, alas it did not happen, you'd think after putting my other 5 thru potty training I'd have it sussed by now, but she has been my hardest! Actually, this is the first time Ive actually used a Potty..I hate them, normally I have trained them on the toilet, but I started sitting her on it with the toilet insert when she was about 2 and a half but it flipped up and she fell in...shes still scared of it now, so that wasn't a good start. So I succumbed to the dreaded potty, I had been trying since Feb but she never went on it even if I sat with her, I did the sticker chart but hve just ended up with lots of accidents on carpets, coffee tables, couches etc..(she even peed on our Sky Box and blew it up!!). So I gave up about a month ago as she obviously was not ready. She just didn't understand what I wanted her to do and wasn't showing any signs that she knew she wanted to go, so was pointless. You hve to pretty much wait for that next little bit of brain to grow and connect to the next piece and suddenly they just do it. That for us was last week, I thought Id try again and put her in underwear at hm (just underwear with her normal top, no pants/skirt/jeans whatever) and went about my day, leaving the potty in the lounge as normal, I happened to be working at the table, called out to her to go potty and carried on with what I was doing. About a minute later, the other half walked in and said she was sitting on the potty and had gone (but she didn't take her underwear off), but I was so happy, I didn't care if her underwear was still on..she had gone! I did a little dance, it felt like we had won lotto! lol.. I high fived her, gave her a Cpl of pebbles and ever since, she has been sitting on it without being asked to. It took 2 days to teach her to take her underwear off first, and on the second day she sat on it and went number 2's too (or "Muddy" as she calls it, lol) I was wandering how that was gonna go! whew. Less than one week later I'm putting pants/jeans on her and shes taking it all off to go potty, so success. (Still has had a Cpl of accidents)but Ill take what I can get. Now somehow I hve to teach her to tell me when she wants to go so that I can attempt taking her out without a nappy..but I think that will be a month off yet. So to make my LONG story short...They choose when its going to happen, its out of our control, u can just keep encouraging them, once it clicks, it clicks. She is just coming up 3 and a half. And to think..Ive got to go thru this 2 more times yet with our other 2 girls,(and theres been talk of one more yet, lol)I'd hve to change my login to 9isenough!! Im glad my sister owns a cleaning company, cause Im going to need carpet cleaning on a regular basis!!

Know what u mean about the Military operation to leave the house..it takes sooooooo long to get going and just when I think were finally ready to leave..baby wants feeding again..back to being immobile on the couch! It took 4hrs to pack the car last time we went away for 4 days with 6 kids to Tauranga Bay Northland. And stayed in a one bedroom cabin with 8 of us. 3 kids, 2 toddlers and a 9wk old...I lost the plot on the 3rd night, lol..and we lost the 3yr old within 5 min of arriving there..she wandered off while we were all unpacking the car, everyone thought someone else was watching her..nightmare!! Its right on the beach front and the worlds yr oyster..where to start looking? We scattered in all directions and found her about 4/5min later, almost at a park which is by a waterway that comes in from the see..scary! She is what we call our run away child, shes always climbing and escaping everywhere we go..including at hm.
Geez, what a novel & a lot of Blah, blah Ive written, haha...the joys of parent hood :-)
