Hi Ellen. Can't help with the side by side, but as you know I love my phil and teds, but it's the single with the added seat. But you should go into postie plus in town to their baby city bit. The girls are really helpful and they have phil and teds. They let me push it aroung and have a good old play in the shop. Also there is a new baby shop opened in Wilson St. Down the end by warehouse. Its part on Antrim (you will see the Antrim sign) and they sell all the phil and teds range, so might be helpfull. I do know the phil and teds side by side is much narrower than most other doubles and so easier to push around town etc.
Hope it helps.

Who is actually using their phil and teds sport (?) as a double? I tried one out at Baby City and put Hannah in the toddler seat on the front (assuming there was a newborn in the back!) and her head was touching the hood thingy I think it looks awesome other than that problem. Also want to know if the smaller baby/toddler in the underneath seat can see much.
Sorry for threadjacking Ellen

Aimee, we have the E3 with a toddler seat. We've been using it since Xavier was a couple of weeks old (which was when we bought it). When he was lying flat, Xavier had enough room to stretch out fine, and Josiah had enough headroom under the hood that he wasn't worried by it at all. Xavier spent most of the time looking back up at whoever was pushing the boys!
Now (as of last week) he doesn't like lying flat anymore. I put him in, and he kicked up a real fuss, kicking Josiah's seat and grabbing at the edge of the pushchair! I swapped the seats around (so that Josiah was in the pushchair seat and Xavier was in the toddler seat underneath) and he was much happier. Actually, Josiah climbed in there on Saturday and quite happily was pushed around so the view mustn't be too bad.
