Hi all

I have bought some huggies barcodes off trade me to get a playmat... but now I'm not sure which one I should get.

I have 10 nappies barcodes and 1 wipes barcode.

The Winnie the Pooh newborn playmat needs 5 nappies barcodes, 1 wipes and 1 bodywash. $6pp.

The musical mat needs 10 nappies barcodes, 1 wipes and 1 bodywash. $8pp.

I know there's a limited number of the musical mats so I'm wondering if I should get that one first and the other one later.

I also noticed that the newborn playmat says:
-5 barcodes from newborn or infant size packs
-1 barcode from baby wipes extra sensitive 144 refil pack

That's very specific! As I bought the barcodes, I don't know what specific things they were from and don't know how to tell. The nappies barcodes are on pink (2 of them are cardboard and looks like winnie the pooh in the background). The wipes barcode is on a teal green colour.

So what should I do?!

depends on what sort of mat you want. I like the newborn mat the best but the muscial one would be probably be better once baby is a bit older.
But since you don't know what size your barcodes came from, I would suggest you go for the musical mat cos that one doesn't matter what size naps you send in

I have the musical mat it arrived today and I would say Josh is still too young for it. He did enjoy randomly hitting the animals. I am yet to get the newborn one (I have the stuff just need to send it away) so can't judge that one (althou Josh has played with others). As you have various barcodes get the musical one.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Jack loves the newborn one, the musical one he is far too young for.

For the newborn one you can use the disposable change mats barcode, we bought a pack just for the promo and they are quite handy!

We got our musical one 2 days ago, while it is really cool - well I think so - Elle is a bit too young yet for it. I had thought the same thing about which mat to get, and decided the musical one 1st - as it was a limited offer, and then the newborn one. I also bought the change mats too, and I second what SB said - they are really handy when you go out!

Newborn barcodes are also a green colour, the pink is the same for all other girls nappys, only thing I could suggest is checking barcodes against ones in a shop to identify which size they are
310088024418 is toddler 20's
310088024432 is walker 18's
if it is a light pink they are for the small (quantity)pkts, if it is a dark pink they are for the bulk in plastic
I have some extra barcodes if you would like to get both mats but I only have the larger nappies, let me know if you would like some sent up

Definitely go for the musical mat as the last thing you want to do is send barcodes off for the newborn one and find out that they are the wrong ones and then you wouldn't get either...
The newborn mat is great (I sent away for one to stay at grandparents' house) and my music mat arrived the other day - straight into cupboard as Kaleb (9weeks) is too young for it.

I've got two of the newborn mats and the gremlins loved them, they were invaluable in the early days and now I keep one in teh car to throw down for them when we are out visiting so they don't spew on peoples carpets.
