Does anyone know if this still exists, my dad said you use to be able to insure yourself against having twins, and that the insurance paid completely for one twin while you paid for the other

thats such a funny idea. but i suppose its kind of sensible because some people have twins in the family and they are a bit expensive.

i know you can sue if you have vasectomy etc and still get pg from it but unsure of the twins insurance - would imagine if twins ran in family or if you of certain age etc that premiums would be HUGE!

Hmmm, maybe I should have checked this one out a few months ago...

In Australia last year a woman sued the doctor who performed her tubal ligation as she got pregnant afterwards, and she won and the court ordered the doctor to pay child support until the child turned 18. The mother's whole case was that she was so 'devastated' to be pregnant again and didn't want the child. The case set a legal precedent so was all over the news for weeks.

How great would it be to be that child and have to see plastered all over the papers every day that your parents didn't want you.
