Oh dear. That sounds like the kind of thing that could happen to anyone Deb. I can understand how frustrating it'd be but don't blame yourself, these things happen to all of us. Bad DH for making you feel bad :( Cheer up hon.

LOL Debs your not alone. Mercedes went to a birthday barty for a friends son so we went out and she wanted to buy his some walkie talkie so off we went, came home wrapped the pressie, made a card etc. When he unwrapped it he was so excited that he opend them to use them when all of a sudden I nearly died, little boy says at the top of his lungs "MERCEDES, you brought me a broken toy" I have to quickly pipe up and apolgise for forgetting batteries This was in front of a whole rugby tream of 6 and 7yr old boys and their parents

only problem is we have NO money for batteries, literally. milk and bread only. Luckily we had a free pass to the zoo - or else said birthday would be celebrated in the back yard.

It was just a momentary GRRRR at the situation and i was so mad at myself...thanks for putting up with the rant!
