That is FANTASTIC news JHS!!! Yay for a little baby
As for me - I just finished my first cycle using them, started on day 21 with a blood test on day 30 to see if I was up the duff. Unfortunately it was a BFN. So now I'm just waiting for AF to arrive so we can start again. Hopefully it won't take long for me to get pg again seeing as I managed it 3 times in 4 months lol

Congrats JHS, that is fantastic news!!
Just a quick question for you though, did you take anything apart from the pessaries?
I ask as I have just done a FET through IVF and miscarried again and I was doing the pessary thing too, so was just wondering if there were other things you might have done to make this bubba stick.
Good luck KH25.

I am so so happy for you JHS!!! I'm a Utrogestan convert as well
ScaredyCat - I was on low dose aspirin and 5mg folic acid as well as Utrogestan pessaries 3x a day.

Puts hand up...
I am another pessary junky :)
Have my 7 week scan on Tuesday so will let you know how its going after that.
Quick question though, when did you guys that are UTD stop taking the pessaries and how did you do it? Was it just stop them all one day or wean off them?? I am supposed to take them until 9 weeks, but a bit nervous about stoping. Also what were your progesterone levels when on them??

I don't know what my prog levels were while I was on them, but I just stopped taking them - by the time I stopped taking them at 10w I had had 2 scans (one at 7w and one at 9w) which showed healthy bubs so I was a wee bit more relaxed.

I am still taking them until 15 weeks, so not sure if I will be weaned off or just stop. It obviously doesnt hurt to take them a little longer to be safe. I think the plancena is supposed to take over progesterone production around 9/10 weeks.
I also took asprin 100mg a day just incase there was a blood disorder the tests missed. Plus folic acid and vitamin B6. I also take fish oil and a B complex that a naturopath suggested.
My specialist said they are discovering new blood clotting factors all the time and the test only covers the major ones hence the asprin as a precaution - I assume I will stay on this for the rest of my pregnancy - do you still take them Minik8e?
I have not had prog levels tested either.

Nope, I stopped all tablets (75mg aspirin, 5mg folic acid and the progesterone pessaries) at 12 weeks - by that time the risk of m/c is really low apparently, especially for the risks that dictate you taking the medication...my specialist was quite happy with this. Now I'm just on B12 injections and iron because my levels are low (I've always had a problem with B12, it's not a pregnancy thing).
