We did at my local birthing unit as part of our ante natal class and i also looked at one closer to home but that was only a 2 room so thought i would get lonely... As for NSH i was determined not to go there but ended up there LOL the midwives there were at least helpful as to where everything was mind you by the time i was readmitted i now know it like the back of my hand..

I need to check out the facilities at the hospital I am going to transfer out to as initially I will be having baby at Wellington but then want to transfer to Kenepuru as it's closer to home. Must get onto that!
