What are your favourites? Why?
I don't have the biggest of boobs but had heaps of milk and lots of leaking after having my 2 older children.
I'm looking for something that is naturally shaped so it won't show through tops that also provides good absorbency for sudden let-down and leaks.
I've tried the Tommee Tippee ones and some Breastmates ones in the past. The TT were ok but leaked right through if I got let down, the breastmates ones were fab for leaks but really obvious through clothes.
Any other suggestions?

I got some from Baby factory. Can't remember the brand, but they seemed ok through clothes. Mind you I wore hotmilk bra's which are thicker.

I got given some baby first ones which were good (I leaked heaps in the early days) and pretty good visibility wise, although like Kel I wear thicker bras.
I bought some from the chemist early on and they sucked!!! Can't remember the brand but they had lace on the backs. They constantly fell out of my bra, very visible (cos of the lace I think) and I had to change them constantly. Wish I could remember what brand they were.

They are the Advent ones- they suck and are expensive!
Lots of cloth nappy websites sell washable breastpads. I leak heaps tho, even now 7 months on, I get a strong let down from the opposite breast that DS is feeding from and its soaks straight trhough any washable pads I have tried. Unfortuatly Im still having to buy disposable ones, which I so wouldnt do if I found washable ones that worked for me!
I love love loved the advent breastmilk collector cups tho- they were so awesome in the early months. You just pop one on the opposite breast while u feeding and the milk drips out into the sheild and is collected, u can thenuse it later. I got sick of having to sterilise them after each feed so I would use them and then just chuck the milk out, then wash the shiel ready for the next use, but it saved breastpads, and was so much nicer not having the wetness againt me. So worth the $20!

Oh yes, the Avent ones! I had those too and gave up on them pretty quick.
I also had the breast shells, such a great idea! Much better than wasting a breastpad with every feed.
I've been looking on Ecomoon, Scamps etc but they all seem to be a similar style to the Breastmates ones that I had which showed really obviously, so I'm a bit wary to invest in them.
I saw some LLL ones on Belly Beyond that look like they have a more natural shape, wondering what their absorbency is like?

I used the Baby First pads (shape was good but were a bit small and would fill up) Loved the PedPods bamboo ones but they were not the 'flattest' fitting!

I got some off trade me and found them good they are microfleece with a microfibre inner and PUL back. I still use them as I too get let down on the side E isn't feeding from (although this is finally not at every feed). I use disposables when out as I can't find re-useables that don't show.

Exactly what I've been wondering too. I used BF singlets rather than bras and found they all tended to show (incl the Baby First ones). I don't want to fork out heaps of $ for disposables but hate them showing and hated thay they got really smelly (even when changed 2 hourly). I ended up using washables (and flannels  ) at night cos I needed about 3 per boob and disposables during the day.
I'm loving the sound of the breast shells - what a great invention.
Someone really needs to make some contoured breast pads!
ET change spelling - boob not book!

Imse Vimse make contoured ones (you can get them from Nature Baby), but they're only cotton so probably not that absorbent. They really don't look hard to make though (I hate overlocking curves or I'd do it myself)...
