Topic: We bought a house!!!!! Posted: 21 April 2008 at 6:32pm |
HaHa, finally so excited *does a little dance*
We have bought an amazing house in Welly, and finally got them to except our first offer, which is $25000 under the asking price.
We have some work to do, repiling being one of them, hence the price drop, but so glad to finally have our own place again after renting for nearly 5 years. OOOh can't wait to paint and get that kitchen Ihave been coveting
Mitre 10 here we come

3 weeks, can't quite beleive it, it took 15 weeks to sell our place in the UK from accepting offer to exchanging contracts, and that was supposedly straightforward and quick!!!
Will sort piccies out soon.

My sis and family are selling up in America to come back here and they are having so many problems. Its been weeks since all the contracts have been signed and settlement is in two weeks, but it still isnt all signed off. They had to get reports for everything - even the chimney and cellar! We are so lucky here, its much easier.

I know stupid work gets in the way of everything. I will make the effort and have a OhBaby/housewarming morning tea once we are in, you can help the guys do the piles, they can't access all the piles so will need to cut the beautiful floor boards to get in, maybe we can send the kids down and they can do it instead. If they can send kids up chimneys surely they can put them under the house with a hammer
House is in Berhampore, so I got my wish to stay in the city, but not quite island bay.

Thats what I loved about the area as well, everything was within walking distance.
Zoe loves animal noises. She dances everything time someone says pig oink oink oink.
