we felt it here in Napier too, seemed to go on for ages!!  Heard on the radio this morning that Gissy was hit pretty hard, glad you are all ok Kellz, my DH was laughing at me cause I jumped up and stood in the doorway lol!!

Hope you Gizzy ladies are all ok

Apparently doorways are reallly dangerous places to go, so is under tables. Best place is to lie on the ground right up against a couch or bed, cos they will protect you more if furniture/ceilings etc are falling.

really?  just shows aye, we always got told to stand in the doorway or under a table.  Even woke DS up, his wardrobe doors were rattling!!
