Topic: We need a new Dad! Posted: 05 February 2008 at 3:17pm |
Our Dad's Diary Dad, Adam, has had to give up writing his column since the birth of baby #2 in December as he's a bit short of time, so we need a new dad!
It doesn't involve much, just a few words each month on your life as a dad, what you've been up to with the kids, your perspective on parenting, that kind of thing.
If you're keen, email me at emma@ohbaby.co.nz.

Hiya, I am a work from home stay at home Dad who is currently been looking after my two sons. I would be happy to give it a go as I believe its a bit different for the Stay at home dads.

Yes what a glorious day it was for New York Giants.. It was truely emotional to watch my Fav team win the Superbowl. Christopher and I were jumping and screaming when they won.. Of course my little baby just stared at us with confusion. Probably thinking that his Dad and older brother are insane. Well I am ordering him a 2 year old NY Giants top for his First birthday from NFL Shop in US should get here by his birthday at the end of the month. My wife thinks I'm nuts about the Giants.

I am trying to find other Dads who are registered to Oh Baby because I wanted to discuss Burnout with them.. I figured its kind of harder for men not having other stay at home Dads to discuss ways of keeping ourselves Sane when the wives are at work. I for one have been encountering this problem especially with my older Son being on School holidays up until today and with looking after the baby it can drive you a little round the bend. I have read a few articles on the net from other baby sites and it was summed up perfectly with the phrase "The hardest job you love to do". Well its just Noah (My baby) and I again so its of to the pool we go.

Hey Giants64
My DH is a SAH superdad and has looked after our daughter since I went back to work when she was 5 months old. Unfortunately our home laptop is in for repairs but I'll get him to log on when it's back.
Enjoy your swim.
Jo
p.s. where do you live, we should try for a superdad's meet up.
