 Topic: Well what a weekend *Sarcasm*

What i weekend i just experienced and i never wanna do it again lol
Saturday night came home early from a BBQ/House Warming coz i was having some real nasty pain on my lower right hand side, thought i would come home go to bed and watch telly and hopefully it would subside, NARP!!! Called the midwife she came over and checked me out told her it wasnt appendisitis coz i have had mine out but the pain felt like that and she didnt know what it was so sent me to hospital, went to Wellington Hospital got strapped to a monitor to make sure i wasnt in labour which i wasnt and Ella is doing fine (thank god!) she made me pee in a cup which showed traces of blood and protein and my blood pressure was high (probably due to the horrid pain i was in and fear for ella) waited for 2 hours and then saw a Dr who finally diagnosed me with what he thinks is a nasty bladder infection, so that explains all the period type cramps i have been having etc, apparently its 10 times worse getting a bladder infection when your pregnant *rolls eyes*
So now i am on antibiotics and anti muscle spasm stuff and panadol or codiene depending on the pain, am starting to feel alot better now tho thank god!
End of my exciting weekend lol

Oh Jess! Rest up, and drink lots. Cranberry juice is good for bladder infections.

Thanks ladies, am starting to feel a bit better dont have pain anymore YAY will finish my antibiotics and wait for ella for the next 13 odd weeks lol
Cory got a bit of a wakeup call at the hospital when he could hear women screaming pushing out their babies lol
"Its one thing to hear it on tv but to hear it in person is scary" - That is from him lol

poor you jess! i had a couple of bladder infections when i was preggy with my ella, and yup they are way worse! i was in a lot of pain with them, so can sympathise with how you must've been feeling. glad to hear you're feeling better, drink heaps of water and cranberry juice and eat lots of green vegetables. look after yourself

I second / third the cranberry juice suggestion ! And lots of for you hun, hope things clear up quick, bladder infections are yuck.
