Topic: What is/ws your babies favourite toy? Posted: 17 February 2008 at 3:28pm |
At the moment Tom has 2 favs. His fisher price train and this little soft ball that goes "wahooo" and "yippeeeeeeee" when it is moved.
I'm wanting ideas for other toys to get him and would like to know what is most "in" for the 6month crowd

I got a xylophone dog from Farmers for half price - it says 18motnhs on it but Lily loves it. She also has the noahs ark toy and agdores that. She has a trumpet, one of the cheap warehouse brand toys which she would happily take anywhere and she loves blowing on it. You know those hammers fromt he $2 shop - they are yello with a smiley face on them and when you shake them they make a funny noise? She has one of them at her grandparents and loves that!

An empty formula tin that I've put a ball in. He can bash it, shake it and throw it. And it's cheap!

Ella's favourites at the moment are a Fisher Price Farm Barn (with the peek a block)- when you open the barn door it sings "Old MacDonald..." (which is her fav song at the moment) and a caterpillar which you pull along and has space for a couple of roll-a-round balls. Have also just brought her a wagon to stand up with and that seems to be a hit

Maya loved the Jolly Jumper, and when I filled a bowl with blocks, rattles and small toys for her to rummage in and choose what she wanted to play with.
The gremlins loved their playgym, they weren't sitting at 6 months so liked tummy time and toys that made music that they could bash.

There is a teddy bear (dressed in PP ) that goes everywhere with Gina. Other than that, the current favourites include her Leap Frog music/learning table and a touchy-feely book

Ollie has a cow rattle that he loves sucking on and Mr G-Raf who was one of the soft toy rattles hanging off the playgym. Its a great distraction when trying to get him into the capsule!! He loves holding him by his neck and sucking his head!!

I apologise for the lousy grammar in my title! I am a stickler for good grammar and even use punctuation in my texts (geek) but I seem to lose all concept of it on this forum
