Ive jumped from a plane at 1200ft; a bridge 47mtres, tied to bungee cord, tandem; over a 7m waterfall in an inflatable which flipped & i got sucked under the aerated water, then popped back up & the boat was metres down stream.
Then the 100 abseil of the Lost world & & & caving; ooo spooky sh*t..

Now share your scary sh*t please

Jumped of the Ballance bridge just after the Manawatu Gorge, tied to a rope.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Glow - I've done the lost world / abseil /caving thing at Waitomo caves, it wasn't scary but man it was fun and exhilarating. It was DF and my first holiday together i was trying to prove i'm an outdoors kinda girl.

What about being held at gunpoint by a crazed bikey Ex? meat cleavers, vacuum cleaners, TV's chucked at ya just to name a few others

Or having petrol poured on ya by mongrel mob member & a flame being lit beside ya, till you spilt the beans?

Fleury did you do the epic 7hrs or 4hr dry tandem rappel?

Absolute Adventures is the best REAL CAVING in Waitomo- abseils aint that long BUT it makes up for it in formations & other physical expeditions..

I did the 7 hours and it was one of the wettest days, the black water rafting had been flooded out, so there was a lot of water. There was lots of climbing, and crawling on all fours - I've never been so exhausted.
Waterlogged gumboots didn't help, and I found the steps on the ladder out are made for people with longer legs than me.

Jumping out of an aeroplane or bungy jumping doesn't scare me as much, as what i'm about to do.

Getting married and start a family, both life long committments, and prior to meeting DF I never committed to anything. Grown Up Adult stuff - thats what scares me.

Hope you are OK Glow.

my scariest thing would be sky diving which in itself isnt scary but getting on that tiny tiny plane is a major for someone who is so claustrophobic she cant even get in a lift!

these are some pretty random threads Glow!

I've led a pretty boring and mediocre life. Probably riding a roller coaster or riding in a plane that needed to do a 90 degree turn 5 metres over the ocean. That is about it
