Yum I tries Cassies Casserole last night and it was great. I though DF wouldn't like it because of the tomatoes, but he wants it for dinner every night now.lol. And I was somewhat worried for myself as I don't do baked beans, but it was pretty yum, the rest of the flavours kind of hid the beans.

beef, red lentils, ginger, onion, garlic, tomato paste, sundried tomato, stock, orange zest and juice, kumara, celery, peppers, courgette .... yummy with couscous :) I reckon about $15 of ingredients will do about 8-10 servings - not too bad!

I'm making the Super Spag Sauce out of Alison Holsts crockpot recipe book. Served with Penne Pasta, I just mix it thru before I serve it.

I am loving these suggestions. I have cooked Cassies casserole :-)

What would you do with pork chops?

I don't really like pork but DH won them at golf, I am trying to clean out the freezer and I don't think the cat would eat them so I guess I will have to cook them for us.

There's a bunch on a Year of Crockpotting - I've only tried her chicken makhani, which isn't really that spicy, but there's a few linked to on this post. If you want them spicier, just add more chilli

mmm thank you for asking I just put chicken makhani on. I love that you don't have to thaw meat for in the crockpot

I made a chicken and bacon casserole today so when I got home from work all I had to do was make mashed potatoes and cook the peas - easy    The bacon gives it a nice smokey flavour

Bolar Roast! Have to clean out the freezer as DH's olds are having 2 beasts done and I haven't even finished off the last lot we got. Can't wait for some mince though, supermarket mince has noooo flavour compared to home stuff.

Oh does anyone have any ideas for patties. Withe last beast we got these patties that a wrapped in plastic like a dog rolll but already cut up. They are like sausage meat  but taste yucky. Im thinking maybe just a meatloaf and breaking them all up.
