to confirm your BFP? I got my BFP 4 days ago but AF is only due today so the midwife I rang then said to wait til next week when I will be 5 weeks. But I'm SO impatient I want them done now!

This pregnancy I was having them done every 2 days (except weekends) from 3w1d until 6w4d. Yes it was early at 3w1d; that was only confirmed once a scan told us how far along I was.

With last pregnancy it was the same, every 2 days, from 4w1d until about 8 weeks when I knew we'd lost the baby.

Both of these were through my doctor. Perhaps just pop along there and ask him/her to order them. I've never had a problem getting them done.

I don't have a doctor so will the midwife do them for me? or do I need to go to a doctor first?

Your midwife should do them for you. I had serial ones due to previous issues so had concerns.

You don't need to have a doctor.

You don't have to go to the dr, just wait and the middle of next week ring your MW then and ask to pick up a blood test form, just to put your mind at rest.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
