Sounds pretty confusing doesn't it

I'm about 12DPO and today got a BFN. I still haven't lost hope although I'm not feeling very positive.

When did you first get a BFP and after how many BFN's?

I would have thought a positive would show up by now but it might be too early still.
With my DD it was the day before AF due that I tested and got a faint positive.

hey mel
with kayla's pregnancy i had a feeling i was pregnant before my period was due, and i tested every couple of days, getting negatives each time- until i got a very faint BFP the night my af was due (or night before) then i tested again 2 days later in the morning and it was a strong positive. i got a faint bfp at 13dpo and a strong one about 15 dpo.
its hard waiting aye? i really do hope that you get a BFP.

Maybe it depends on the test you take - it seems some can be used 7 days after ov while others won't work until after af is due. Here's a link

Hi Mel... just a word of warning - there are some women (I'm one of them) who don't get a BFP until well after their period is due. I'm not trying to make it harder to wait, but just making sure you are aware.

With Josiah, I tested several times as I was late... BFN at 5 weeks 5 days (AF 1 week 5 days late), BFP at 5 weeks 6 days! (AF 13 days late)
With Xavier I didn't test as often, but still didn't get a BFP until 5 weeks 6 days pregnant.

Thanks thats exactly what I wanted to hear. It means there is still hope
I have been using the Pregnow off the net, and I've heard they sometimes aren't very reliable, so maybe I'll wait until Saturday and then go get one a clearblue one or something.
All along I had decided to wait until after AF was late, but its just too damn hard not to test before then.

I'd love to hear from anyone else thats had a late BFP

charli i got a very faint BFP the day of AF due
