Me: When you've finished your dinner.

Maya: I don't like my dinner.

Me: Then no rockmelon.

Maya: Ooooh, but I want rockmelon!

Me: Then eat your dinner.

Maya: So! You're not the boss of this house anyway!

Me: Oh yeah? Who's the boss then?

Maya: Daddy's the boss!

Yeah right! He *wishes* he was the boss, I wear the pants in this house!!

Who's the 'boss' in your house? Or more importantly, who do your KIDS think is the boss?

LOL!!! Without having kids at the moment I would suspect the animals rule the roost at our house!! But I'm sure that will change once bubs arrives.

Christopher SO knows that I am the boss in the house. He's always having DH on about it.

Christopher: "Dad why do you let mum make decisions and stuff?"

DH: "Cos I love her and I want her to be happy"

Christopher: "But your the man dad - you should be the boss"

DH: "You'll understand one day"

Christopher: "When I have a wife i'm gonna make the decisions and she will just have to listen cos i'm the man"

DH: "Whatever - you won't have a wife for long with that attitude"
