Today I have found that our milk tastes funny however DH doesn't think so and Dad didn't say anything when he called in for a cuppa this afternoon. I tipped out the part bottle as I was sure that it was off but DH has just made me a cuppa and the new milk tastes the same.

So why would it taste funny to me and not DH? The only thing I could think of is that I am pg but that is impossible as we have the most surefire contraceptive at the moment - a toddler who is having nightmares and sleeping in our bed every night!
Any other ideas?
Lindsey

What type of milk are you using? I found the when I bought the superblue by accident one day that it tasted different than the standard blue. (but I was pg at the time)

Did you use the same cup? I remember when I was younger complaining that my water tasted like dishwash liquid and got told not to be silly, as it turned out the glass hadn't been rinsed properly and still had a build up of liquid on it - maybe that's why I'm not a big water fan now

Different brand? I can tell the tastes of different brands of milk. Other than that, I have no idea, I would've said pg too

strange thing is it is the same brand we buy normally. Even drank from the bottle (naughty I know) and it still tasted funny. Cereal and cuppa this morning were OK, didn'y notice the strange taste so much. Oh well, may never know

Sometimes I think things (often its milk or water) taste funny and there doesn't seem to be any reason for it. No one else thinks that. Maybe its a hormonal thing?

Milk always tastes different to me, it usually depends on what I have been eating/drinking, if it's not hormonal.

From a barista point of view maybe it was because of the change of season. I know when frothing the milk during the change of season it goes through this phase of frothing like sht and I am never happy with sending it out!

Could it be the brand? We have had to stop buying the Meadow Fresh milk because it always seems to have a funny taste and smell. Almost like it hasn't been refrigerated properly except that it always tastes like that!
