O.k so where begin..... well going back to work Monday so informed The right people I.R.D. That was fine no problems had a lovely lady really helpful....

But then.... she said they have over paid us so far and the payments will stop!!!! now!!! I explained that i don't get paid for two weeks after i start working.

But still because THEY have overpaid the money stops. It's not a huge amount but enough to put towards food and nappies.

It's all so confusing, she said it's only an esitmate and we may not have been overpayed but won't know unitl end of March.

It's not to the end of January (when i get paid from my new job). such a long time till we have money!!!

Anyone had any issues like this???

And I over esitmated hubby's income by 6k so this wouldn't happen!!!

hmmm, I think I would rather get a cheque in the mail for underpayment than have to pay money back so sit tight, I know the money is helpful but it is a bonus as well and it's only for a few more weeks .... ekkk the year is gona fly again like last year!!

It's happened to us. They overpaid us so we get nothing (and havent had anything since November) til April rolls around.

Yep it happened to us in 2006, and I have way over estimated DH's income but didn't think that the pitiful amount I was getting would push it over. But it did, we didn't get it back till I had Josh.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
