I've already read quite a few pregnacy stories about women with mad mood swings and crying over funny little things. Usually I'd have a little sympathetic chuckle.

No chuckling at 4.20am this morning.

Got up at 4.05 to go bathroom (into the routine early!), went back to bed, got up 15 mins later to get a drink, didn't turn the light on, brushed my toe on something, sat back down on the bed and started crying??!! Sobbed at hubby about all I wanted was a glass of water!!!

I also was talking about Pay It Forward the day before and started crying (one of my tip off maybe I could be pregnant!)

I hate to imagine how much worse this is going to be over the coming months!

Anyone else got any insane stories like mine?

ha ha, if you think crying's bad, wait till you get to the insane stage where nothing anyone does is right, it has to be your way or the world will fall apart, and no-boddy wants to be around you cos you're cranky all the time - (usually co-incides with the last month or so of pregnancy!) ick hormones.

Doesn't even really have to be for any reason - I just get waves of extreme sadness which last about 5 mins - just long enough for a good blub Weirdest one - got all choked up over that Telecom ad with the little blonde girl who says "so, are you coming with us"!!! I started blubbering yesterday about a newspaper article about a woman who lost her three year old to cancer and I am not even pregnant. Also, was reading a book by Jodi Picoult about a woman whose child was molested and I sobbed, and I mean SOBBED my way thru about five chapters, Andy threatened to take the book off me as i was so upset.

I was weird and didnt get overly hormonal while I was preggy - feel like I've missed out on a part of the pregnancy experience!

Oooo I was insanely irritable. I used to go nutto at my flatmates for absolutely no reason! Grocery shopping was the worst.

I cried at really emotional things like dropping my tooth brush, the news and when Anne kissed Nelson on Shorty Street. Mind you, she made me want to cry without being hormonal, she was terrible!

Had a crying session the other night which lasted a good hour. Not quite sure what it was about. Poor Zeke kept trying to talk to me and every time I'd just got over the last thing I'd start up as soon as he opened his mouth. He stopped talking after a while.
