Hi Linda!
Can I join you?
I got a faint BFP this morning and am due 17th December. How are you feeling? I have very sore breasts, lots of crampiness down low behind my pubic bone, but not cramps like with my period. I have been having hot flushes this afternoon and am really hungry. I lost the last baby at 17 weeks so I am pretty nervous. I am going to my GP hopefully tomorrow and then will have a scan at about 7 weeks.
Looking forward to getting to know you and all the other December mums.
Marion

Well of course, welcome aboard!
Yes, very sore breasts...its like they're foreign objects at the moment but symptom wise thats about it. I get bad MS which will start around 8 weeks so not looking forward to that. In the process of looking for a specialist but the one we used previously is not longer doing maternity.
Sorry to hear about your lost at 17 weeks, and can understand you are very nervous. I have also had a MC (at 10 weeks) but my biggest concern is that I am 40 so have a higher risk (I think) of MC. Still, at the moment I am happy to get through each week at a time. I live in Wellington

Just to let you know, it was a chemical pregnancy and my period has arrived. I am having tests and a possible scan to check everything is okay. I am sad not to be here still but hopeful that in the next few months I will have my own little one on the way.
Wishing you a fabulous pregnancy and healthy baby.

Great...and you've got a ticker so I can monitor that to see where I am at (I'm not very good with tickers etc). Roll on week 12...then week 20...then week 25 and then week 40! These are my targets - 12 weeks because you have less risk of MC, week 20, half way, week 25, if you deliver early there is a slight chance of survival (not saying I would want to deliver at 25 weeks) and then good old 40 weeks!
Great to have someone else in Dec and great that its on the same day.....cyber twins!

LOL tickers are very easy to do. If you want one like mine then go to www.i-am-pregnant.com and follow the easy steps there (and you dont have to join) then you copy the one that goes [URL=http..... etc then go to the pink profile name(which is at the top of this page) then paste it into your signiture then viola there it is :)
I totally agree with you goal wise and im sure hoping that the evening sickness im getting (again *sigh*) doesnt last for 20 weeks like last time.....are you going to find out the sex? We probably will again Im too impatient LOL
Im also looking forward to the 12 week scan... a friend of DH's has had a dream that we are having twins one of each sex and I have a funny feeling too... but then I did think Tristen was going to be a girl... LOL

Hi can I join this thread to? Got a BFP today and it is our first child, so feeling excited and nervous all at the same time. I don't feel that different at the moment, although have slight cramping and my face has been feeling quite warm and flushed for the past few days. Is that normal? I am a complete novice when it comes to all of this, so I may be asking lots of questions!

Welcome Sh_az congrats. when are you due?. From my knowledge its normal not to feel anything much till around the 6week mark is when things start to happen - for me anyways with sore boobies & morning sickness (except mine is in the evenings) and the tiredness.... why did i want to do this again LMAO!!!

Thanks for the link for the ticker...I will give it a go. Looks like a good website.
Can't wait for the 12 week scan and then yes, will be finding out the sex. The big thing will be knowing how many are in there. Twins don't run in our family but there is an increased chance of being pregnant with twins if you conceive 40plus.
I usually get bad morning sickness and last time it went to about the 20 week mark. No sign of it yet but am prepared....stocked up on airplane sick bags to have as an emergency.
