Morning all!! hope your all having a good morning, i'm still itchy! and have a lovely rash!!! thanks to my hormones...
and ive started using this lovely cream from a healtheries shop called Chickweed compound so now I smell like a fire burning! ;its just gross! so everywhere I go people thinks it smells like fire! seems to be working so fingers crossed... my midwife thinks i'm going to be stuck with it till after bubs is here!

Have midwife tonight, doing birthing plan, so will be interesting to see what she says. not really sure what i want to do, but go in with an open mind and see what happens i guess.. who knows!

my little poppet has been quite quiet lately she's still moving around but no big movements as she had been so going to get checked out by midwife tonight which will be good. just to reassure me!

SD - Hope all is well... and you get things sorted!

And happpy birthday Mrs House.. hope you have a great day!

Happy Birthday Mrshouse

Well it looks like things are moving along here.
I started losing my plug last night and have started getting sharp pains down there..not cutie cutie feels like someone is poking around with a pin.
But then that doesn't mean much either this can all happen 2 weeks before you go into labour so now it's just a waiting game.

Ooohhh motherof6 cool. Is miss 4 looking forward to her new little brother arriving?

Geez I just rung my local place where I go for scans to book my growth scan and they are booked up till december, so now I have to go to the other one in our city and pay $25 LOL... It would have been free if I went to my normal one. Never mind...

Hi girls,
Had about an hours sleep last night with Little Miss having a jerky, kicking party in my belly. It was almost like she was trying to get out, it was that severe. Think its all ok, but it was very weird!

Need some sleep and hope to get a restful night tonight!

Yay- our kitchen is being started today! New flooring and new appliances- so exciting! Should be finished by next Friday, so I am looking forward to cooking up a storm next weekend!

Motherof6- How fantastic! You must be over the moon, except for those jabby pains! It looks very likely that you will be the first new Mummy in this group!

Happy birthday Mrshouse!! I hope you have a wonderful day.

Good luck Motherof6, I hope everything progresses well and you get to hold your little boy very soon

Beckyb, I hope your rash clears up soon. It doesn't sound like fun at all. Good luck with your mw appointment tonight.

Phat_cat, I hope your little guy gets better soon.

Motherof72b, it's a bugger about having to pay for your scan, but at least $25 isn't too much. Any scan here in Christchurch is $50!

It's pretty quiet for me at the moment. Just counting down the days until I finish work really. I'm feeling rather over it and it's an effort to put in the effort, IYKWIM.

When she got up this morning, I was in the kitchen and she called out to me, so I went into the lounge and she pointed at my stomach and said Baby come home now...I think the kids have it in for me as Mr 9 woke up and asked me if the baby was sleeping and then looked at my stomach and went ohhh thats right he's not born yet..

Hmmm get the feeling the kids want the baby out now lmao

Kiwibubs - We'll have to see what happens.I guess right now it's just a guessing game as to when I will actually go into labour.

Happy Birthday Mrs House - hope you get really spoilt.

Wow motherof6 - looks like things are moving along for you now.. funny about the children... hmmm maybe they know something you dont? and if youve lost your plug and your nearly 36 weeks maybe you will get to your 37 mark im soooo jealous!!

Mumof72b - guttered that you have to pay esp if youve been having free ones lol we pay $30 up here. Do they do a 4d in your area?

Debs- I so know what you mean. I think we finish round about the same time and ive got to go to work tonight and maybe tomorrow night to do extra stuff that i committed myself to ugh! so cant be bothered..

Beckyb - hope your rash clears up soon must be driving you a little nuts.. lol at smelling like your burning hope it works then the smell will be worth it!!

KB- how exciting a new kitchen!! i would SO love a new kitchen (in our own home not the rental) and shiny new appliances... only downside would be that DH would expect me to be in there all the time he always jokes about a womans place...

As for me had a slightly better nights sleep only had the two little wriggle worms in the bed though and one was not DH tristen was kicking me in the back and rylan in the stomach lower pelvic area lovely!! im surprised that im not covered in bruises. And im thinking that i maybe i will write and ask for gift shares in the kleenex loo paper company im sure im keeping them in business lol

Can remember who else has SPD (preggy brain of course) but how are you going? Mine seems to have settled down a bit more moments now which is good.

Motherof6, Childrens instincts are usually pretty good so I think Simeon will be here soon.  Yay our 1st Dec bubba is on the way. Do you want any Labour Vibes sent out yet? Lol....

Zoe "Big Hugs" Oh the old dreaded weekend wait aarrgghh, Dont ya just hate it when the weekend is near and you either waiting to have tests done or waiting on results? You & bubs will be fine Hun, Try not to stress to much...

Phat_Cat yes we do have the 4D scans here but they are $145 to have done.  Oh also Hun I havent been getting free scans in the pst from my normal Sonography place. My 1st 1 was free but my other 3 were $30each and because I've paid for 3 I would have got my growth one for free, but oh well $25 isnt much to pay just to have that piece of mind....I think my little guy isnt so little coz everytime I go to change one of my babies and when I kind of bend over I just cant breath at all, it's like im pushing him right up into my lungs and when I go to sit up straight I actually gasp for a breath...I dont know if I can survive another 6 wks possibly 8wks if he's gonna be stubborn like his sisters aarrgghh...

Nope no labour vibes yet lmao I've been told by my DP boss that I have to wait until the weekend and then my DP's work mate told me I'm not allowed to go next week either cause then his work load will double pmsl

Hey thought I might share this with you guy's, I've always loved this song it reminds me sooooo much of my DP.

Now imagine what my DP look's like
Blonde, wear's cowboy shirts ,Levi's or Wrangler jeans, belt with big western buckle and black flat nose cowboy boot's and he love's horse's, hunting, fishing...Should of been born in the US
Anyway here are the lyric's.
When you see a deer you see Bambi
And I see antlers up on the wall
When you see a lake you think picnic
And I see a large mouth up under that log
You're probably thinking that you're going to change me
In some ways well maybe you might
Scrub me down, dress me up but no matter what
I'm still a guy
When you see a priceless French painting
I see a drunk, naked girl
You think that riding a wild bull sounds crazy
And I'd like to give it a whirl
Well love makes a man do some things he ain't proud of
And in a weak moment I might walk your sissy dog, hold your purse at the mall
But remember, I'm still a guy
I'll pour out my heart
Hold your hand in the car
Write a love song that makes you cry
Then turn right around knock some jerk to the ground
'Cause he copped a feel as you walked by
I can hear you now talking to your friends
Saying, "Yeah girls he's come a long way"
From dragging his knuckles and carrying a club
And building a fire in a cave
But when you say a backrub means only a backrub
Then you swat my hand when I try
Well, what can I say at the end of the day
Honey, I'm still a guy
These days there's dudes getting facials
Manicured, waxed and botoxed
With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands
You can't grip a tacklebox
With all of these men lining up to get neutered
It's hip now to be feminized
I don't highlight my hair
I've still got a pair
Yeah honey, I'm still a guy
Oh my eyebrows ain't plucked
There's a gun in my truck
Oh thank God, I'm still a guy

I always crack up listening to that song..

Oh and Nic - Yah I hope she has fun tomorrow. DH and I have taken the day off. In the morning we are going to let her sleep in then when she is up she will have B/Fast and then open our gift to her...we might go out for lunch and then to her Daycare for little afternoon tea party with her friends.

After we will go and pick up my cousin (who is 4r older than Z but not very tall...) who is also very good friends with Z and go to Chipmunks (We have never been so that will be interesting). At night all her extended family is coming over for CAKE!!

We wanted to take her to the Zoo but the weather is not going to let us I think!!

Hi Everyone

Alot to catch up on.....

SD - Hope all went well at hospital and they can stop the pain for you and get things sorted with your kidney.

Mo6 - Wow its kinda freaky thinking a Dec 08 baby could be here soon, makes it all seem alot closer for all of us

Supazo - I was the same with my GTT test as I had to wait all weekend before I could have it done then wait ages for results, then wait another weekend before I heard from hospital, pregnancy is all about the waiting huh? I know how you feel, try not to stress as apparently this can make your blood sugar levels higher. Now that I am into the full swing of things with GD its not too bad, I am feeling really good as I am having to be so healthy and do lots of excercise, and I have so many specialists looking after me I feel like I am in very safe hands.

Had my big appointment at the clinic at Auck Hosp yesterday where I saw the physician, dietian and obs and they all said I am doing really well with it but had to up the meds a bit also. They were saying that an average size person should only gain 6 - 7 kgs in pregnancy, anyone overweight should gain nothing and if obese should lose weight during pregnancy quite different to what the MW's seem to say and what the books say. I have been losing weight since knowing I have GD but will still have put on more than 6 -7 kgs LOL!

I have been so irrationally emotional the last few days, had a big rant at DH last night about in laws as MIL & SIL are already trying to tell me how to parent my child, I cant even get a word in while they tell me all the things I MUST do! I told DH he will have to tell them to back off once bub is here as I will not need that stress etc. from them, after a few (alot) of tears he agreed and said he will support me 100% so thats good. Unfortunately its seems to be DH who cops all of my emotional outbursts!
