Congratulations to all the new mummies and daddies out there, so wonderful to see/ hear!! .. Im in the "late boat" as some mums to be are, baby was due last friday, but is happy where he/she is ... Midwife still doesnt think its engaged, anyone else had this?? Had scan on due date -19/12 and radiologist said he/she was quite a way down so I will focus on that for now ... Drnasia, my baby didn't engage either, which meant I also didn't go into labour so had to be induced. She finally moved down after my waters were broken and came out a few hours later

Oh, and being induced isn't terrible like everyone told me it would be! It was fine, I had a wonderful birth and I am jelous that you get to do it soon, I want to do it again!

Congrats to all Dec Mummies!!!!!!!

ETA lurker out tehehe

(((((((((((((((((((((((Labour Vibes to everyone who is late))))))))))))))))))

Just got my hair cut man it feels good, and DH brought my xmas presents hehe, I know he spent a little too much but it will be the last big splash for our Christmas.

I managed to get lots done around the house, did loads of washing and cleaned the inside of the car, then chilled out playing games.

Still itchy hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Morning everyone,

I woke up at 3am this morning, had a sick feeling in my tummy, like nothing else can go wrong.

Luckly the itching has calmed down a little bit, I just look like a war zone of red scratch marks everywhere eeeewww now ill have to wait for them to heal, which will be annoying since they become itchy when healing grrrrr.

Off to buy the Christmas turkey this morning and get that defrosting in the fridge since it will take for ever.

Also have last day of work lunch hehe free food lol.

Then I have MW appointment, hopefully she will tell me bub is on the move

What does everyone else have planned for the day?

Morning girls

Yay Debs & DH congrats to you both and just in time for xmas, What an awesome present aye?  We're birth weight buddies, My son was 8lb 1oz also....

My son was weighed yesterday and he's 9lb & half oz, so im pretty happy with that gain....And He has finally got a name, It's abit stange but it's my DFP's 1st son (I know he's my 1st son also) but DFP is the baby of his family and now he's got a son so his family went to temple in India and got his name.....His name is Mahtab which means Light of the Moon...I've gotten pretty used to just calling him Son so it's abit strange calling him Mahtab....

Zoe I hope things start to happen for you soon, A xmas day baby would be nice dont you think?

Dagster I hope your itchyness goes away soon, Gosh it's starting to get soooo hot now and you've got to deal with the heat along with your itchiness....

Hi Roksana good to see you on...

Sita glad the breastfeeding is going better for you...

Drnarsia, Dont worry to much about bubs not being engaged. Scans do have a better indication as to where bubs is so yea just go by the what the scan revealed LOL...

Niccola my feet have only just gone down, & they look  so beautiful, I can actually fit my fingers around my ankles now.... LOL...

Leash heres some labour vibes for you hun, Dont you think xmas day would be a nice day to have a baby?

I just remembered that I'd be sitting in hospital right now if my son never come when he did, Oh and I just went back over all my scans and I actually had my son on his due date... the 13th/12/2008 was his due date, I dont have a clue as to why I had 12/12 as my EDD, LOL...

Anywya I hope your all in good health & sending heaps of labour vibes to everyone who wants them (((((((((((((((((  )))))))))))))))) & sleep vibes to all that needs them ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ & Im gonna go to the supermarket soon before them mad rush starts... I'll BBL

Waiting, waiting....off to the OB around lunchtime and then to DH's family for another early Xmas dinner.

Hopefully she has moved down, and a day ago she did a massive flip to the left so her back is now on the other side. I am trying to stay positive and tell myself she is getting herself ready to eject. Bones are sore and I feel like a cowboy when I walk. No sign of a show though.....can it come later, like when your waters break or during labour?

Congratulations HuntD on your new arrival and also DebsB...yay!!!!!!! More babies!!!

Dagster- I hear you on the feeling sick thing. I thought I had morning sickness back for the last 3 days. Changed my breakfast this morning and feel heaps better...very strange! Hope your itchies are ok today.

Still not much happening here..Sim get's weighted today so find out how much more weight he's put on.
He's an awesome baby and sooo easy to look after..He wakes for his morning feed and then stays awake until his next feed (3hrly) and then sleeps between every other feed and at night he's sleeping upto 4 1/2 hrs. He loves his swing and loves getting cuddles from the other kids..Anyway got to move got to bath bubz, then have MW appointment and then have to go do shopping over at Coastlands...So will catch you guy's later.

Morning all,

Phatcat, what an awesome early chrissie pressie! You'll be able to capture so many precious memories! Glad that BF is getting easier for you too, and that you have the infection sorted and it was nothing really nasty.

Mrshouse it doesn't sound very nice having the pubic/pelvic thing, is it like the pelvic bones have been pushed out of alignment from birthing? Hope it gets better quickly.

Mumof7, that's a good gain for Mahtab. What an awesome name, considering what your avatar is, that's kinda of a cool coincidence what the meaning is.

Dagster hope you feel better today, and the itching subsides some more. Mmmm lunch sounds nice.

Kiwibubs, hope the OB goes well today and you get some movement.

I'm hearing you on the sick thing, but not really bad, just don't really feel like eating much, amybe it's nerves and frustration! I have MW today at 12 so I think we are gonna have to tlak about an induction date maybe being set cos I really don't think this baby is keen to get out of it's own accord. I have tried everything I can think of, and I don't think my MW will do a S&S, find out today I guess.

Hope you all have a good Tues and (((((((((())))))) to everyone who needs them!

Morning Everyone

Dagster - I hope the itching stops soon, I had it on my belly then my legs and then my arms, sounds like it could be the same thing, as skin specialist and doc could only put it down to hormones. Mine went away in the last couple of months but I got it back again for a couple of days after Heidi was born???

Zoe - I hope you have your baby by Christmas but if not at least there is alot going on over Christmas to keep you busy if you know what I mean

Re the swollen feet thing, I had really swollen feet for a few days after Heidi was born and yeah so nice to have them back to normal, I can actually wear my slippers

GL to all with MW appts today!

We just had MW visit this morning and Heidi has put on another 150gms so she is 3.4kgs now which is 7.5pounds. MW says we are both doing really well. I must say I feel so lucky to have such a good baby, and that BF and sleeping are going so well. My philosophy of taking each days as it comes and remaining calm seems to be working. We managed to do the last of Christmas shopping yesterday and even sit down to have sushi for lunch so that made me feel like a normal person again.

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) labour vibes to all those wanting and needing them

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ sleep vibes to everyone

BBL

Aimee - Noooooo dont say it will come back, my legs have calmed down a bit today (knock on wood) I think it is just hormones aswell, its really annoying though.

I will take both labour and sleep vibes hehe.

(((((((((((((((((((Labour vibes for everyone overdue))))))))))))))))

Well I am off to my work lunch break up hehe should be fun then off to the MW.
