Congratulations on the safe arrival of Emrick, Jessaroo! What a gorgeous name! All the best for the next 20 weeks animaxnz :)
Back from my specialist appt, told me what I already knew. Progesterone tests were looking good, asked if I wanted to stop the blood tests for 3 months but I said I like the reassurance that I'm OVing, and she said she looks at it the other way, in that its a test and tests can sometimes be wrong, and really what we're waiting for is the pregnancy test to be positive instead! She said "ALL" I have to do is get into bed at the right time *sigh* - I've been trying, lady! Also said I could do with losing 5kg...TBH I could do with losing the 15kg I still have hanging around from my last pregnancy! So she gave me a goal of losing 2kg by me next appointment in 3 months' time. So nothing really changes, but she's given me another 6 month script for Clomid and said most couples who OV take about a year, so she's hoping that's put us back on that same level playing field now that the Clomid is helping me OV.

congrats Jessaroo and what a cool name for bubba! good you have more clomid wimble, hopefully thats all you are needing and youll have your bub soon! Im currently eating a low sugar whole foods diet and the weight is moving which is nice (unless i fall off the wagon which i intend to do tonight with my block of hundreds and thousands chocolate! lol. but on the wagon again tomorrow) but its the only thing i can do to shift the kgs in a healthy way. low fat/lite foods are bad for you anyway and I can never stick to that. and low fat is very bad for developing babies brains. so try cutting your sugars and youll probably lose the 2kg in a week!

Congrats Jessaroo!!! Yay! I'm so pleased that things went smoothly for you. Now onto ttc number two ;-)
Nothing new for me... in limbo between AF and OV. Really hoping that month #4 after the mc is the lucky one.
I hope everyone is doing well!

Hi Jessaroo! Congrats on the arrival! That's awesome to hear!! I remember when you got your BFP in here! I was just starting my TTC journey for #2 as I was trying for an August '14 baby so was going for the month after you so was lurking around and gearing up for trying! I did manage to conceive my aug bub, but unfortunately lost it through missed miscarriage (died 8wks) discovered at 12wk scan. So I'm still here! Anyway still at the beginning if cycle. Horrible bleeding! Hate this witch! Don't want her back for a year please!
I'll be keeping my eye on you lot coming to end of TWW and crossing my fingers for some BFP! It's gotten quiet in here with those!

I'm really sorry to hear about the losses :( :( I know that pain too well and really hope you deserving women get your wee babes soon xx yay for reaching the halfway mark animax! Tbh if I have anymore losses I don't think I could continue trying this time - you ladies are much stronger than I am, these threads got me through and gearing the success stories! Seems crazy to already be planning the next one when emricks not even 2 weeks old!

I have been sick all week with an infection (probably sinus) but I really don't want to go to the doctor's. He will put me on antibiotics and then I will be fighting thrush again. Also I would be too tempted to start moaning about lack of pregnancy and I am not ready to admit defeat yet and seek medical help.
In other news, I have a new car now so at least that is one weight off my shoulders. And it is fully comprehensively insured this time. Still having to put up with gloating insensitive people (the latest one was my boss telling me the new staff member she hired will be there to cover me for maternity leave and I said "you can't plan these things." And she said: "yes you can, if you stopped stressing about it you would be pregnant by now." I didn't respond. How much of an idiot do you have to be to not realise that so many things could be preventing me getting pregnant, not just stress? It doesn't help that the lady at work who is pregnant keeps going on about how she stopped stressing about it all and then boom, pregnant! Great...but these people have not been in a car accident or lost loved ones or have the added stress of worrying about a sick family member who is in a bad place right now all within the past two months, as far as I know they have had no rotten luck and it is life as usual for them both. Or have any family history of infertility, while I do. They both have children already so they don't have to stress that it may not happen...so, yes it could be worse, but I can't just turn off the stress when I keep ending up in stressful situations around the time that we are trying to make a baby! I think if I left and got a new job then the stress in my life would be halved and I would fall pregant, but I can't exactly say that to my boss.

Ahh Bluetardis I know what you mean! Even after being diagnosed with pcos people will say that to me- ok yep so if I just "relax" (when I wasnt even that stressed!) The 30+ cysts will all disappear and my cycles will no longer be 80 days long.. hmmm...yep that must be it then. If anything, those comments stressed me out more than the infertility itself! Hugs xx itll happen im sure xx

Congrats Jessaroo! Oh Blue. I know what you mean about stress. I have a lot in my life too, unrelated to TTC that you can't just turn off. DH and I have agreed to try to have a relaxing weekend not doing much at all. I had an anxiety attack one night this week. Second I've ever had and all since TTC. I lay in bed thinking that it was silly, telling myself that there's nothing to stress about and I can think about it in the morning. But couldn't get to sleep and my heart was beating like mad. I decided to take my temp, it was 1 degree more thsn my morning resting temp. Was just interesting to note stress affects your whole body. I was completely calm but it was my body having the attack. Weird! I'm worried this morning (and probably adding to my stress) that I've got endometriosis. I got my period at 10 years of age and used to scream. I used to curl into a ball and scream. I went to specialists, can't remember what they said but I went on the pill at 11yrs old. Im now 29. Took the pill til I was 19 then went on the depo. I remember on the pill I had pains still and heavy bleeding. On the depo I had nothing for 8 yrs. Came off that 2 yrs ago. Periods have been odd, came back after 9 months and much lighter but the spotting started. And this cycle I'm having AF cramps since AF. Got them this morning even at CD10. Bah I've probably ignored my endo and made a mess of my body the past 19 yrs! Reading lots this morning.

Hi all. Feeling very frustrated and confused. I'm over 2 weeks late for my period and have had 2 negative tests. I don't have sore boobs like with my first but peeing lots, crampy, light headed, heightened sense of smell. Have drs appt on Monday but the wait is killing me!
