Ooooo are you doing any type of tracking? Like using an app to help suggest fertile days? Yeah, I'm terrible with tests, I do 1 everyday when I get to 6 days after ovulation

Hi ladies,
Well this is it, I am officially back 'in business'! I got my period on Monday eve, this one is the real deal so I am super stoked, the other weird bleeds I have had must have just been the left over old blood from D&C. I can't have ovulated since D&C though because we BD each day we were meant to to see if we could catch it, but no avail. So I'm guessing I am re-setting from now! I am off to the Dr tomorrow to get bloods form, check iron, HCG from op etc.
I normally have 21 day ish cycle Nell, I don't do charting or anything...what are your suggestions for me? I am also off for acupuncture again tomorrow and taking my prenatal vits and my Shatavari so I should be good to go!
2furbabes, how you feeling hun? What's been going on in your camp?
xxx

hey mami, im still here, just waiting for ov which fingers x'd will be in the next few days unless my body gives up! Then I know when to expect AF and we can start TTC again. Pretty sure you have to ov to get AF so likely you did but things didn't work out, good luck for this cycle!

I have been using an app that tracks my cycle so that has been rather helpful. Its a whole new world of information out there, I had no idea about the preciseness of it all. Just kinda thought, will stop the pill when we are ready and see what happens, but then I made the mistake of starting to read all of the things. I do have the added bonus of being able to feel when I ovulate, so I think that helps a lot with timing.
Any who, I gave in and took a test and, well, its positive :) I know its super early days, but Mr and I are pretty chuffed. No coffee this morning for me haha.

Oh SOOO exciting Jo! Congrats to you guys! Relax and enjoy the ride from here! Went to Dr this morning, she said I probably wouldn't have ovulated prior to AF due to the nature of D&C, she doubts very much if everything had settled that quick for ovulation to happen. But she said that this well and truly sounds like AF so it's all go from here. I am still going to get bloods done though as well.

If anyone is looking for an app to use I really recommend Fertily Friend. (this is my one)You don't have to take your temperature everyday, you can just enter other key points like the 1st day of you period and if you notice clear stretchy mucus By the way nothing is too much information on here! Congratulations Jo!!!!! Here's to a happy healthy pregnancy for you

xx | I have been using 2, trying to see which one I like best but so far they are pretty even. One is Clue and the other is My Cycles. Both are free and easy to use. Although I cant seem to figure out how to let either know I am preg lol

How's everyone going? ZethansMum, what cycle can you TTC for the study? I'm kicking myself we didn't BD last night seeing as it was only CD13 for me and I haven't OV'd as early as CD14 since exactly 6 years ago (Dec '09!) I thought it would be best to save my BD card until at least tonight. Well now I've got a +OPK a temp drop and all the signs of OV. ARGH! ETA: I guess seeing a chiropractor really does help with fertility! I only started going on a whim, you know, try anything. But I didn't really believe it!

Gah Nell I hate it when that happens! Get busy tomorrow!! When do you usually ovulate? We might be tww buddies this month, as I'm pretty sure I'll ovulate tomorrow too. I feel like I'm guessing half the time though as opks are hardly ever a true positive (ie. darker than control line) and I'm trying to work out whether the line is darker than the day before or not and how much water I've drunken that day etc. Will do another opk tomorrow night to try and work it out. I think the latest I've ever ov is day 15 and sometimes it's as early as day 9.

Karenka before my son I used to OV around CD17, since him I've had 2MMC though so my cycle is a bit out of wack. Although the last 2 cycles seem to be good and OV'ing earlier than my 'norm' I think I OV'd yesterday as I had wicked cramping pain, still managed to BD though , so now I'm feeling like we did everything we could. What OPK's do you use? Do you think you OV'd yet?

My ov/luteal have always varied, but my cycle length was always pretty predictable. Since about my second loss my cycle length seems to vary by about 5 days - so annoying when you're hoping af won't arrive, but you don't know when it's meant to!
I use David ov predictors. I reckon I ovulated yesterday too, so we can be waiting buddies (and bfp and due date buddies)!
