Indigo, snap, we are dpo buddies! My AF due on the 15th, so think ill test tomorrow, I have those first response ones this time. Weirdly, I am feeling nothing like I did last cycle, even though I could have sworn I was preg, like there's no lower back pain or anything I'm not starving, and there's none of that sticky cm, so here's hoping I feel different for a good reason! Not just AF the witch playing tricks again.

Yay, I'm back! Still on pain killers, but back at work and on my PC so I can update the list Welcome to all the newbies I trust you've been made to feel at home! Congratulations Antheawren, mummystheword AND MountTaylor, OMGOSH! Bumper crop for October LOVE IT! Wewt! Thanks 2furkids How did your scan go?! Or is it yet to come? Well, I did get answers! I don't know if anyone remembers, but after my D&C last year in April I was in a lot of pain - anyway after a scan showing some fluid around my right ovary they decided I must of had a cyst and it burst. I guess that is still possible - can't be proven otherwise, but it turns out I had an infection! A very bad one, my ovaries, tubes and bowels were all mushed together with scar tissue. Doc said no wonder I hadn't been pregnant since then. Anyway, the inside of my uterus is fine, so while my fear was scar tissue in there - I was only half right, it was all on the outside. Which is good because inside is harder to fix . Dr was very pleased with the surgery and his 'work' and is confident he's cleaned me all up on the inside and said I can start trying asap Such a shame I OV'd not long after my surgery as there is definielty no sexy time going on atm with my healing pain!

So I went to the doctor's today, and I had to swap antibiotics because of TTC. He was so awesome and gave me a script for Folic Acid and Iodine! It seems so real now? If that makes sense? I can't bring myself to actually start taking them until I get my BFP though. Brings all the exciting feelings etc back!
CD20 and counting...

You reckon anthea? I was worried that I'd be getting too ahead of myself haha. You're probably right though. Is there a cheaper way of getting them? If I start taking them now, then my BFP doesn't arrive for a while, I don't wanna spend another almost $50 to get some more from the doctor lol.

I am so glad to hear that Nell, not because that somethings wrong but because they did find something and he sorted it out, I will be (im)patiently watching here for your BFP! To those ladies thinking of me today, thank you I had a late avo scan which is why I hadn't posted, but much to my relief there is ONE healthy little critter in there, measuring bang on at 8 weeks, HR 150. lady said that the yolk was nice size and round, apparently if there are genetic problems the yolk sack is often misshapen, which was interesting to know! So I guess I have graduated from here, but I will be lurking to see the BFP's Def start taking the folic acid, recommendations are to take it minimum 1 month before TTC, as a lot of the important neural tube stuff has started forming before you get your BFP :). You don't need to take iodine until after pregnant, but it wont hurt.

Omg 2furkids that's the best news ever - yay I'm so super happy for you!
Mummabear - folic acid and iodine should be funded so only cost you $5 each time!

Wow, another BFP, congrats MountTaylor! This has been a successful month!
Awesome Nell on getting your answers, must be a relief to know what was going on. Fingers crossed it doesn't take long now to get your BFP.
YAY 2furkids, that's great news about your scan. I can imagine that that you won't feel relaxed yet though after a loss...thinking of you as you continue the journey.
Looking forward to hearing news in the next few days Mami and Indigo. The waiting is the worst! I'm on CD15, and no ovulation yet...
