Hi all. Finished first round of clomid yesterday. Bloods will be on cd 11 or 12 I think so hoping there's not a dozen follicles waiting to develop otherwise it's all off for this month. Fingers crossed!

Welcome guys!! Good luck!!!
I'm at 11dpo now, and almost tempted to test in the morning, but I'm not too, cos sh*t has been crap lately and I just don't wanna deal with testing, either result will just stress me right now so I will just keep my head in the sand for a bit longer.

Just popping in after not checking in for a few days - this past week has been super-hectic! My parents arrived back home after 6 months overseas - we have been living in their house while they were away and our new home is being built....now we are all living at their place - and it's a bit weird Unfortunately our new house is still at least 6 months from being built, so we'll just have to grin and bear it. On top of all that, I started a new job last week (new job after starting maternity leave in Aug last year before DS was born) and settled DS into daycare for the first time too. And we had his first birthday party over the weekend - never knew a 1st birthday party could involve so much work! Being in the same house as my parents, plus all the stress of getting used to a whole new routine, has meant that TTC has well and truly been put on the backburner this cycle. I was CD13 on Saturday when we had a 'night away' at a friend's house while she was away, but it was the same day as my son's birthday party and I had been up since 5am and was absolutely shattered after a day of visitors and family - so we opted for an early night instead and let that opportunity to BD pass us by. Feel a bit of regret about it but there really does seem to be too much going on for us at the moment to really put in a good effort. So we're out for this cycle and hopefully things will have settled down by the time I start my new cycle in a couple of weeks. Was hoping to come in and find some new posts about lucky BFP's but nice to see that everyone is keeping on keeping on anyway.

Lovely to hear monkey15, congrats to you
Oh Rin, that sucks! But I get what you mean about wanting to wait until things are a bit quieter. I don't think stress help the ttc journey one bit. I hope the new job is going well? x
I've been feeling super stressed about getting pregnant and just wanting it so badly, and I'm sure that doesn't help us at all! Been feeling like maybe there is something wrong - I don't seem to have much cm at all throughout my cycle. I'm sure I used to, but until you start tracking it, it's hard to remember! We got pregnant in under 6 months last time, so I just assumed it would be the same this time - but you know what they say about making assumptions! Not sure whether I should go and get checked out or just wait, this is only month 3 of ttc.
I am meant to ovulate on Friday and I had a small amount of ewcm this morning, hoping that's a good sign!

Rin, sounds like you have a full plate! AngelMummy, ewcm is a good sign, fingers crossed for you! I have a question, prior to ovulation, how much do your temps fluctuate? FF tells me my fluctuations are on the high side. Mine have varied from 36.46 to 36.15 I'm on cd8

AngelMummy - I know that anxious, stressed out feeling well :-( It's so hard when it's the one thing you want and have very little control over aye? Try and take some comfort in the idea that you are doing everything you can - that thought always makes me feel like I do have a bit of control in a situation that seems so uncontrollable. I wouldn't worry too much about the effects of stress - I managed to conceive DS at a time when I was living and breathing TTC and bordering on obsessive with pretty high levels of stress, after two miscarriages. Just do what you gotta do ;-) AJB, my temps tend to remain pretty static around 36.18-36.20 pre-ov, and then shoot up to around 36.5-36.7 post-ov. But this cycle my temps have been all over the show pre-ov...I'm putting it down to stress and middle of the night wake-ups with unsettled DS, and also being ill earlier this month. I think ov day was yesterday so will see whether my temp stays stable going forward, since there's still a fair bit hanging over my head at the moment, and still having 3am wake-ups to settle DS I was meant to have acupuncture tomorrow, but since we have made zero efforts this cycle, I have re-scheduled for early next cycle. Feeling pretty good about "taking a break" this month actually - it feels like a massive weight off my shoulders and will be a bit refreshed to start again with decent efforts next cycle. Might even consider taking this wee break one cycle every 3 or so going forward - depending on how long it takes us to get lucky!!

Hi all cd3 for me af done and dusted. I had forgotten what af without an iud was like. so much easier. My iud made af about twice as heavy and 2days longer! Angelmummy and rin sorry things are stressful in your lives. I often wish there was an off switch you could flick for a day of peace and quiet and freedom from all the things that weigh you down. Hope things settle for you both soon. Angelmummy re ewcm. Prior to conceiving last time i had very little and was drinking grapefruit juice the cycle i conceived as that is supposed to help. Also very impt is keeping hydrated and lots of omega oils are also good. Thanks for bringing that topic up as i havent had much ewcm last few cycles. I've been bad about drinking water during the day and its a good reminder for me to do that. Ajb my temps drop slowly from af then usually sit at 36-36.1 till just before ov when i get a .2 to .3 degree dip as i ov. Then straight up to around 36.5 for luteal phase. Mine are generally predicable and stable and dont fluctuate more than .1 from that no matter what time of morning i take my temp.

My last 2 cycles that I've charted have been quite a large range pre ovulation. I get a dip and a surge after ov also so it still followsthe ideal pattern. Maybe I'm just someone whose temps arent as stable as others. And my temps have been taken 4am bang on each morning this cycle too. Ah well, wait and see. I have heard AngelMummy that omega oils are good for ewcm, I have been taking fish oils since ttc (and it corresponding with winter/change of seasons and my skin dries out like crazy!)

Morning ladies
Thanks for all of your advice
I have been taking Evening Primrose Oil capsules and Fish Oil capsules since I started this cycle, and I can definitely see an improvement in ewcm this week, in my fertile window. Although I read that you shouldn't take Evening Primrose after you ovulate as it can make your uterus contract which could lead to early miscarriage! You can start taking it again once AF arrives... Interesting huh?
How is everyone doing?

CD19 and 4DPO for me today and such a weird feeling to know that it all means nothing this month as we didn't BD at all during my fertile time. Hoping on planning a weekend away with hubby around ov time at the end of this month though - leave DS with my parents and get away for a whole weekend of BD'ing I take evening primrose oil too AngelMummy - but yeah, only during my follicular phase. I take a HEAP of supplements - Vitamin B complex, prenatal multi, vitex and NAC in the morning, and then evening primrose, DHA/fish oil and ubiquinol in the evenings. I was taking all these supplements when I conceived DS, so I figure it can't hurt to try them all again! I also have a genetic mutation which means that my body can't process folic acid properly - so I have to take activated folate in a prenatal multi.

That makes sense about the evening primrose making you contract because that's what I was told to put up my huhu to set off labour...it worked too labour started the following day but probs a fluke I hear it's not reccomended now though things really change in 11 years! Weekend away is a great idea Rin :) my kiddies will be away for the school holidays so I'm thinking that might fall over ov which will be nice. I'm 4DPO today got some good positive lines on my OPK so hopefully we got the egg just have to wait and see. Don't think I'll b testing before AF is due too much stress!

AngelMummy BIG fingers crossed for you! Oh I just want to hear everyone come back with bfp's. Weekend was interesting for me. Had a huge spike in bbt on Sunday and back to normal today. I disregarded Sunday's temp as we were away, I had a terrible sleep and woke up pretty hot cos DH left his electric blanket on. Hope I'm still on track to ov Weds. -ve OPKs, very high but closed-medium cervix and no ewcm yet.
