Hello, can someone please add me to the list :-) It's been a very long time but we are finally into theTWW again. 16mths of waiting to TTC! This was our first IUI (on Tuesday) and if we get a BFP the baby would be born 3 years and one week after our first baby was due. So here's hoping that we finally get lucky! I'm now on CD 18, 2dpo and due to test on the 9th September :-) Please also add me to the angel babies section x 2. I will probably try and just pop in occasionally though as I don't want to obsess too much this TWW...well try not to anyway!

Sorry to see you have gone back to CD1 KP06. Good luck to you girls coming up to testing/af due date in the next week.
a.girl, I wondered if you've joined our Due in April FB group -- noot sure if you're already in there. Just wanted to let you know that the group is getting closed off at a more intimate number of people in about 10 more people. Then they're going to start another group for any more. Talz, Mrs Baker and I are in the current FB group, hope you decide to join. xx

Thanks Apfel, CD1 is my sad day, pretty upset tbh, I've started using it as my day to get sad and angry with the world and then have to move on to the next cycle from CD2.
How long did other people wait until they went and talked to someone about TTC when it didn't just happen? we don't really have a date we started trying as the last few years we have been slowly going to the not trying but not preventing way of doing thing, I think it's properly TTC for the last 6 months now, 4 of those charting and logging everything and making sure it was 100% timed properly before that it was more just make sure the deed was done enough around the fertile time, neither of us have any health issues that would affect fertility and we are only 26 and 27.

We were similar to you KP06, went to GP and they were very dismissive of me, said I was only young and not to worry until I had been trying over a year. I wasn't happy with that, so we went direct to fertility associates and paid privately for our appointments, tests and clomiphene to begin with. Then went on the waiting list for IVF (which we have done). I believe you should go and see someone as soon as you start to feel concerned - We have now been trying over 3 1/2 years, numerous clomiphene cycles, 3 full ivf cycles and 2 frozen embryo transfers. We recently had a pregnancy that ended in a missed misscariage at 8 weeks, so are now looking forward to our next cycle with fingers tightly crossed.... Time just passes by so quickly these days! Good luck with your journey x

Thanks guys,
Yeah that's what I would be expecting, I'm young, no health problems in either of pur families etc, technically hasn't been that long TTC and from what I have read it's supposed to be 12 months before they look at you. I think I might call fertility associates and see what they can do for me.

*Lurker in*
Hi KP06, My DH and I went before we even started trying to check everything was ok. My DH suffers from an anxiety disorder and his therapist recommended seeing my gp before hand to get some sort of idea of what we were facing. My gp was amazing she did a full blood panel and went through a complete history. I ended up being diagnosed with PCOS which was a shocked but I am pleased we are not spending months trying and going through all of the hope and disappointment.
In the end she recommended that I lose 25kg before we start trying and as we are young (both 24) we decided to do this so are currently waiting to TTC :)
I would really recommend going to see your gp and just asking for some basic tests and have them go through your history. I was shocked and a wee bit upset to be diagnosed with PCOS but I am so relieved we went as we now have a plan as to what we are going to do.
Sorry thats a bit of a novel :)
