The mighty 2 week wait

Wellybaby, I would higly recommend getting some ovulation predictor kits (you can get them on baby4you.co.nz) My luteal phase was 11-14 days (they say it doesn't vary but mine did!) and I also had spotting starting 8dpo to 11dpo for three days prior. Still managed to get UTD so don't stress about it too much, but the Ov sticks do take a lot of the guess work out and help with more targeted BDing. BD every second day of the cycle from about day 8 or 9 and once you get a positive, still BD for 2 days after in a row.

Wellybaby cycles can be very different between different people and even in your own cycle as well,

In short there are two things you can do,

Use OPK's they will give you a good idea when you are just about to Ovulate, usually when you get a positive result you will O in the next 24-48 hours,

To confirm ovulation and so you know when to expect your next period / BFP you would need to do BBT charting, you use a BBT thermometer (goes to 2 decimal places instead of the usual 1 for other thermometers) and then chart using FF or a similar app.

Overall the above will just teach you more about your own body, it's kinda like you learn to match all the clues together, I can usually guess and get it right whether I'm before or after Ov just due to listening to what my body is telling me.

Hey guys sorry it has been so long.. My baby girl Zoe Anne was born on the 20th of July. at 35 w 2 d. She was in NICU for 2.5 weeks. She is now 13 weeks and doing really well! Good luck to all of those TTC and Lots of baby dust!

.Had cd11 scan today as my cd10 estrogen bloods were 1550. I had 1 big follie at 24mm some little. Only only right none on left. Told bd regular from tonight... Going to start opk tomorrow

I've had a bit of a different TWW so far. Normally by now I'd be having awful PMS symptoms, but so far I've had nothing at all, and feel absolutely fine. It's so weird!
I'm still finding it hard to be hopeful though. Even though we've only been TTC since April, I've been waiting for DH to be ready to try for years, so it feels like soooo much longer. It's hard to readjust, and I have to keep reminding myself that it hasn't been that long!
