Soda - I had spotting with my pregnancies - so it doesn't mean much on it's own one way or another!

yeah im thinking i might still be in the running? (TMI) the spotting just wasnt like my normal AF spotting,- just a small bit of fresh blood and nothing else.. might hold off that glass of wine tonight anyway (darn! lol), just in case. i have a weird urge to get rid of my baby stuff though- quite calm and rational, and in no way have i given up, but just really want it out my house! weird ay. will see what this weekend brings and if AF comes i think ill strongly consider the option- id get my spare room back for a year at the least! and hey, nothing more fun that baby-stuff shopping so ill get to do that all over again when it does finally happen! think ill wait a couple more days before testing again. dont want to waste any more tests when its likely to be nothing. Oxy this cycle i did a detox for 12 days (pretty much extreme vegan, all fresh natural food no sugar of any kind, no preservatives, meat, dairy etc..was pretty extreme! and also started taking magnesium and vit B complex this cycle too.. so could be a number of things going on that is helping. but we shall see!

hi ladies, can i ask about your habits with ttc and wine and coffee? :) I have cut down a lot since we started ttc but haven't cut out completely! lol have been waiting till AF arrives before I have a drink in that 2WW (just in case of a BFP). What are your thoughts on alcohol and caffeine consumption? Anyone abstain completely?

I'm quite lucky in the fact that I don't drink wine or tea/coffee - just hate the smell and taste, so for me i abstain from it completely... I do love fizzy drinks though, so have been trying to cut back on those since all the IVF started! FA says to cut right back, or not drink it at all if you can though

I still drink 1-2 teas a day, only have coffee when at a nice cafe (coffee snob here lol) so at most once a fortnight..if preg id have that but decaf. I dont really drink but will have a wine when not in the tww..but thats very rare. So I had a temp drop today but not below coverline..still very faint spotting but barely there..no cramps or any other af signs..but id say ill drop below coverline tomorrow and thatl kick off af. This cycle has been so unusual for me though that I dont know whats going on lol!

Yeah I don't like buying HPT's, I usually go to the supermarket with the self service checkouts and go through those, otherwise I go online on eBay and make sure I buy from a private listing that way they don't write pregnancy test on your package also,
I don't drink, maybe a little bit once or twice a year, I've just never really had the appeal of alcohol, and also never use to have the money to just throw away as such, Coffee doesn't really do much for me either but I always like a hot drink in the morning, last 2-3 months I've changed to only have one drink a week but it hasn't made any difference to my situation, so I'm kinda just having a coffee from time to time but not fully cutting it out as you still have to live during this long wait with an unknown end.

I don't drink very often so that's not a worry for me, but I do love my coffee. Going to have to get really tough on myself to cut that out.
