I saw your last message Sharyn.  If your not quite sure when ov will be, have intercourse every other day from now over the next week should cover it Smile Did you have any signs the last two cycles of ov? like cramping, eggwhite like cm? you can also chart with the charting girls and/or use opks which are great.

Thanks Kazper, I think I'm going to rely on the app as I've done two tests with the OPKs today and nothing. No never get any big signs normally, sometimes my ovaries hurt a little but it doesn't happen every time.
We're going to try tonight anyway, just in case, if it doesn't work at least it will be fun

Karenka I am so sorry to hear your bad news that's so stink.

Nicsa I don't know much about any of that testing, best of luck with it though.

Sharyn that sounds frustrating about the app, has it sorted itself now? I use "Glow", what one are you using?

It's been a few days since I've had a chance to check in here, this week has been full on. So pleased it's the weekend! Only a week or so until DH and I need to get busy busy busy, bring it on!

Hi everyone, Sharyn I've been really confused this month using the opk's too although usually they've worked really well for me and I've had huge positives around the time I'm supposed to O. I'm guessing I either didn't O this month or I just missed it on the opk's and had no symptoms... So frustrating not knowing!

Can I please be put as 6 dpo as this is roughly what I should be.

I use one called P Tracker, it's usually fairly accurate with my periods. I think I just don't have enough 'off pill' cycles in it yet. Well, that's what I'm hoping.

This question might be a bit embarrassing but my partner gets really nervous when it's time to 'get to work' and once or twice he couldn't finish because he was thinking about it too much and how important it is, putting too much pressure on himself. It's only since we have started TTC. Anyone else experience this? We were just saying last night that I might not tell him so that he doesn't over think it.

Sharyn that happens to us every month! Usually there are NO problems at all but roll around that time and he is so nervous to get the job done and there is so much pressure to 'catch that egg' that things don't go as planned. I won't even tell you different things we have tried when this happens! lol

Yep its totally normal! and totally sucks lol  We have had a few times where nothing happened because the pressure was too much then I stressed because I worried DH would want to give up all together.  Went through a phase of not telling him when I ov, but that didn't work because we would miss opportunity days because he didn't know we actually needed to lol.  So we are back to be honest with when it really needs to be done, but at the same time trying not to stress and make it fun and interesting.  What is helping at the moment is trying new things at that time.  So no interesting stuff any other time so we have new fun things to do when we need to if you get what I mean Wink

Catching up after busy days esp, the weekend. But our family is back together again, after hubby and my son came back from their Raro trip, so nice to have them back. Well, in the end, they didnt do as much work & painting on the house as they spent sorting our my mother in law' s house and stuff instead. But al least she s happy:-) And also they had some " fun boys days too". Meanwile, af found me over the weekend, :-( but the least its good to see that my periods are back to regular again on 28 (second 28 d cycle out of the 3 i had since mc),so that s me finding something positive in this :-) Nannikin. can you please update me on cd3 as of today. Thanks.

Sharyn, its absolutely the same scenario here too. It all gets just too much preasure, and (apart for me being bit lazy) its also a reason why i ve given up charting. I try to observe cm ( might try opks this time) and dont tell hubby if it think i m oving, but it in general we tend to keep bding every other day to keep our base covered for times when things dont go to plan. Well, well, thats our theory....hope it ll come to fruition too! :-)

Good luck everyone!!!!! we need lots of good news of Bfps in this forum!!! Fingers crossed for us all!

Well that's a breath of fresh air, thanks ladies. I was thinking it might just be us lol

I did an OPK today and got a faint line so will try again tomorrow when it will hopefully be nice and strong.

Sharyn, yep totally normal! Ih and fyi you can get faint lines for days or even the whole month before a positive test so don't feel let down if its not positive tomorrow.

Mummyinc if you're reading this, I spotted your name on the Waiting to TTC thread, I've updated you here on the list, hope you don't mind

I've updated you too Lesh, halfway through your TWW, woop!

Sharyn, I haven't had this issue - but in saying that, I've deliberately not told him when I'm due to OV so that he doesn't feel like he's under any pressure. I like Kazper's idea of doing something new/different to help distract him though!

Iceland that sucks that AF turned up! Good to hear that she was on time at least I guess??

Not entirely sure I can try this month, it depends on if I OV before or after my Dr appointment next week

So I mentioned earlier this month that I was confused because the Opk's I was using weren't working properly. It turns out they were spot on and that I must have just OV early this month as I'm starting to spot already and AF not due until next Monday! I will def start testing earlier next month as I think we just missed it this time around, damn!! Still no AF yet but I know its coming :(

I am so sorry AF arrived early Kosmo Hug  I hope you get some answers soon.

Lesh that sucks you missed ov, but at least you know the opks are working and know to test early next cycle Smile  I know it sucks you don't get that bfp this month though.
