The mighty 2 week wait

We’ve had a nice weekend away and I got to go snowboarding for the first time since I was preggo with DS (4 ish years ago), so one small positive of this month not being my month. It was nice to not think about ttc for a couple of days too, although as soon as I got back I wanted to check on here and now want to the days to speed by so we can try again.

Karenka sounds like you had a good time away, nice to have a break away from everything (including TTC!) sometimes

I'm also wondering how Kosmo and Nell are doing - hope you have exciting news for us!!

Today I told someone about my pregnancy for the first time, she knew we were going to try later this year and just asked me outright, so I couldn't hide it LOL hoping she can keep the news to herself!

Sorry to disappoint! So far stark BFN from me.

I've caught a nasty cold, very sore inflamed throat :( so actually hoping I'm not pregnant now as I hate taking drugs in the TWW but I felt so sick I've had some paracetamol and throat lozenges >.<

Argh that annoys me tons too Hanger! We were at the supermarket last week when DH bumped into one of his parents old neighbours. She asked how old DD was and when we said 3, she said the same thing...'oooo better hurry up and have another soon...you don't want a big age gap'. She obviously hadn't heard that we did have a perfect little boy almost at full term last December that was born sleeping. I kind of just smiled and didn't say anything. But it made me angry. Who is she (a complete stranger to me) to comment on what she thinks is a good age gap. She doesn't even know us! For all she knows, we might only want one child (which we don't, but that could be the case), or maybe we have fertility issue (which I hope we don't). It's such a touchy subject which I feel people shouldn't have the right to comment on. Afterwards I said to DH, maybe I should have said...'ooooh we did have a little boy last year, but he died and I almost did too''. I wonder how she would have felt?!
Ahhhh sorry for the major rant, but as you can tell it annoys me how people are so blazae about other people's personal stuff.

This TWW is going soooooo SLOW! Have decided that I won't test until after AF is due (probably 16DPO), so next Friday. It's so far away!!!!!

Wow it is quiet here.

I'm dpo 1, but leave me off the list this month as we had no success during the important days. Ds has an ear infection and has been very unsettled and woke up crying at very inopportune moments on several occasions!! Kind of funny, but I'm guttered to not even be able to hope this month.

Sorry to hear you missed OV Karenka. It's sooooo hard when kids are sick. Bring on summer I say!!!

It has been quiet in here! I've been trying to occupy myself and stay away in the hope that this TWW flys by, but it's dragging so badly. I'm symptom spotting BAD, and even considered doing a test, but then slapped myself back to reality and realised doing one at 10DPO would probably result in s BFN anyway. So six days till testing (if AF doesn't greet me with her presence).
