Once in 12 weeks Anthea 😵 But you get the best orgasms when you're pregnant!! Ha ha anyone else find that? So much blood going to uterus makes them so intense!!
Yeah the smear thing is just a bit scary I reckon, and I don't think I'm uber cautious when I'm pregnant.. I had a close friend miscarry almost immediately after the smear and there was an investigation into it etc etc ... And although it probably wasn't the smear I don't think I'd go there... Get a smear just after your period then you'd be in the all clear...

ZethansMum hmmm here's hoping he gets a change in hours then! What a funny/cool boss!

Indigo, I second that. My sex life (after being horribly ill for the first Tri) was the best it's ever been during pregnancy

Thank you for the input about smear tests ladies. So good have a sounding board for things like that when when I can't talk to friends or family about it. I think I will wait till after this TWW and either book in after period or reassess if I (fingers crossed) get a BFP.

When I was preg I don't remember overly enjoying sex! I think just the general feeling different in my abdomen made me feel a bit weird about it. But as I didn't make it past the first trimester I can't comment on further along.

In the first trimester I found that I had no interest in sex, probably partially due to the nausea. But second trimester was awesome! I had raunchy dreams too hehe...that always put me in the mood, and I agree Indigo, orgasms were fantastic! Third trimester I started feeling like a heffalump and my interest dwindled again...

I never enjoyed sex while pregnant either! I couldn't be bothered during the first trimester, and felt too big and awkward during the second and third lol. I'm jealous of you guys!

Hope everyone's night is going well!

Holy moly I don't look on here for a couple of hours & there's a million posts! Haha we've kindof jjust taken over this thread haven't we! Ahh well
I don't really remember back to sex when preg, but definitely remember the last trimester for both & def wasn't down for the old bump n grind haha, even though I was assured it would help bring labour on!
Speaking of sex though, hubby & I had a wee disagreement last night, he was in the mood & I said no because of our last loss I am definitely subconsciously worried it will happen again. I said that I wanted to wait until after dr appointment tomorrow etc. Well he didn't like that at all, I actually felt really sad that he couldn't understand where I was coming from, he's just such a bloke, wish he could be a bit more sensitive sometimes. I was in bed fast asleep at 9pm after all of that! He was fine today & I came home to dinner being prepared so he must have had a think about it all.
So am I being silly? Being paranoid about having sex, or nah? I guess dr will help me out tomorrow

You're not being silly at all Mami! It sounds like he was just being a typical male about it all lol. I think him getting dinner prepared was his way of saying sorry? I know that my hubby does things like that when he wants to say sorry but not actually say it haha.

Yay for drs tomorrow!

Yay Lil - now it's time to get down and dirty!

Oh Mami I just think men are stupid and selfish! I definitely won't be putting anything up there for some time! I think in our heads we are trying to protect our wee babies or potential babies! It's all we can do to begin with!

I had a argument with my hubby yesterday as he told me his rehearsals start for his play next week and he's doing 2 of them so he's now out 4 nights a week and all day Sunday! This is all unpaid! Oh how I wish he would put that time into another job rather than me working 50 hours a week! I said I really need help at the moment I'm pregnant have a cold and some sort of tummy upset as well as working massive hours but it doesn't get through! Omg it felt good to whinge about that!

Indigo just get in as much as you can before DH goes away I know it seems impossible but it is definitely possible for sperm to hang out in your tubes waiting for the egg.

I never would of believed it myself if one of my pregnancies hadn't been from sex 5 days before OV (my September 17, 2014 chart)

They just need the right environment, so make sure you're well hydrated!

Thanks for all your advice Nell and everyone!

I am now back from the Dr, free of charge (I never knew that whoop whoop), with many papers in hand! Bloods for whenever I can get there and then again 48 hrs after yeh? A scan form for 7 weeks, I am 4 weeks she calculated because of early ov, due date 27th of Oct at this stage. Then my 12 week scan etc forms due to us moving end of March she just wanted to make sure I am all set all in one go. So I am now prepared, relax time from here!

She was impressed I got such early pos and said it was a good sign, and good sign I feeling symptoms etc.... eeek fingers crossed.
She also assured me that sex was absolutely fine unless you had significant mc issues etc which is completely understandable!

Yay now I am off for my acupuncture i'm running late so will catch up on all posts when I get back, first time since Christmas so hopefully will help little bean

Oh that's excellent news Mami :) yeah basically from here on when you the doc it's free.. Same with all kiddy related stuff, it's amazing!
Thanks Nell, I will... I'll drink plenty! I hardly got any cm this cycle so I'm wondering if I dehydrated myself too much woopsie. If only I could just bung it in the freezer and pull it out when I need it :) DH work may push out so I might get more in than just on day 14 but then again he might leave early boo hoo.
I'm meant to go and see the specalist again if I'm not pregnant 3 months after d&c.. So really need to get this month in if possible...
Hopefully you're all good to go this cycle Nell? How are you feeling? And how's the pain now?

Woohoo! Awesome news about the doctor visit Mami. It's awesome how it's all free huh? You value the free doctor's visits/prescriptions so much, since it costs so much for yourself to visit lol.

AF is due tomorrow, not too sure why but I have a feeling that it hasn't worked in our favor this month. Intuition maybe? Who knows. We will find out! I'm taking my 2.5yo to her soon-to-be kindy tomorrow morning for a wee visit, so at least that will take my mind off it all!

Hope everyone else has had an awesome day
