Thanks ladies, I'm been a complete mess all week but can feel the madness easing off finally :-)

Soda I'm with you, what date next month? Ours is the 8th. I'm going away for work in a few weeks too right in the middle of fertile time too, so a 'laxed' cycle for us two by the looks of things!

Sara I dont have a date yet for FA if thats what you are asking? it was over a month ago i was put on the waitlist though, and they said theres an 8-10 week wait at the moment so that means 4-6 weeks wait left for us.. hopefully at least things get sorted for us to get seriously into it in the new year? that would be nice, start the new year off with lots of hope and things to look forward to :) i just sooo thought Id be pregnant again by now! Unhappy actually, i just try not to think about that part too much coz it just gets me down. Im actually in two minds whether i should be concerned about my periods or not to be honest... since the MC, every cycle my period gets lighter and a day shorter. It used to be a good 5 days with a couple of spotting as well...now its about 3 days long, waaaay lighter than it used to be, with a couple of days spotting as well. i hope my egg quality is ok to be honest and its not something to do with that.. Confused trying to not dwell on it but i feel at this rate give me a couple of months and AF wont be here at all! (for all the wrong reasons!) ...

Soda, the same thing happened to me. Super light af (1 day and about 5 of spotting). But we've managed to get utd 3 times with that. I asked my specialist and he wasn't worried. It's hard not to worry about it though. I'm seeing another obgyn Thursday so ill ask him too.

I had a similar thing with af changes after miscarriage Soda - lighter with heaps of days of spotting and all seems well so far. Hope it's nothing to worry about.

Sorry Soda that was a vague Qn! I meant your angels due date in Nov. My AF was 2 days when I got preg, it's been longer, the few I've had after birth, but I think it's heading back to short again!

oh thats good to know guys, thanks :) im not worried after reading that. stands to reason though that after MC things will be different. at least im not getting the crippling cramps i used to, so maybe this MC had something good come out of it, if anything!
Sara oh of course it makes sense now lol. my due date was 26th nov.  Have worked out we may just have ONE last shot before my due date- as hubbys dates of being away have changed so hell be away from this thurs to the next fri...giving us about 4 days to BD like crazy before ov, which has been around day 20-22 the last few cycles. and yay itll be sooo much easier to keep it up until ov as hell be away! lol. sad but true Confused

My AF has been lighter after each m/c. Fater 3-4 cycles it's usually back to normal for me but it does vary each time.

Hi my dear TTC after MC ladies,

I took a little break from posting on here to try and not overthink things too much. And.....

Beta on Monday to check levels, but the + came up within 30secs so it's looking a lot better than my chemical last month. :-D I'm 13dpIUI today (13th try & we get out beta results on 13th Oct!)

PS- my periods have been waaaay lighter ever since my MC's and the last one was Mar 12, so I guess they are like that for good now.

Thought it was about time I posted in here, have been lurking for a few weeks now! I had a missed MC in August at 13.5 weeks, they think baby's heart only stopped a around 13 weeks. While I knew it was totally possible I never really thought it would happen to me! It'll be 8 weeks tomorrow since the d&c, so definitely not trying again yet, and a bit unsure as to whether we will again or not. How have you ladies who've been through this decide whether you try again?? Some days I'm so sure that we will, but then I keep thinking what if it all happens again? Can I actually handle that heartache again? Do you just at some stage get to the point where you're absolutely sure you want to try again, and then if you can get pregnant again do you become more detached and try not to get too excited? Sorry for all the rambling questions!

Chandy I'm really sorry you too have endured this. I had a MMC back in feb when I was just over 12 weeks but bubs died many weeks earlier at around 8. For us there was no question about it. We really wanted a sibling for our son so started trying straight away. However it took many frustrating months to conceive this time. I'm now 11.5 weeks preg and definitely very anxious now. All my innocence had gone out the window. I used to believe everything was fine as I had no cramping or bleeding.but the MMC proved that theory wrong! So because I can't feel anything freak out a bit. I have had HCG tests weekly up until 7 weeks for reassurance of the rise and a scan at 7 and 9 weeks. This one was still healthy with a heartbeat at 9 weeks which I thought would see me happy and through until 12 weeks, but now im not so sure. My 12w scan is next Monday and today us my first midwife apt and if she doesn't find a heartbeat with Doppler ill freak even moreso.
Sorry for my rambles there. But what I'm saying is yes we were ready and wanted to try again but definitely gave the thoughts on the back of my mind constantly.
Good luck for whatever decision you choose! And again I'm sorry for your loss and heartache x

Woohoo pepi!!! Hopefully this is the start of a new run of good things for everyone! Chandy welcome, sorry you are here with us though xx for me there was no doubt, I know the only way I can fill this hole is with another baby..when it happens I imagine ill be freaking out though! My first pregnancy was flawless..I was lucky to be able to bask in it and be naieve abput anything bad happening.. I lost our 2nd bub in may at 11 weeks (just 2 days after he died) but that innocence is definitely gone forever which is sad. Ill still be attached though and will try to enjoy the next pregnancy for as long as im blessed to be given it.. ill try, anyway. But I also know people who have taken ages to decide if carrying on is right for them or not.. give yourself time, let yourself grieve, and one day youll wake up and just know what the right thing to do for you is xxx

Hi Chandy
So sorry for your loss, but welcome to this very supportive group.
I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy two years ago now and it actually took us until the start of this year to start trying again. It took me a long time to recover from the shock of emergency surgery etc.
However now that we've started I'm very much like Soda, nothing else with suffice until I have a successful pregnancy.
I think you'll know when you're ready, but do give yourself time to grieve xxx

Chandy, I had a MMC also and ended up having to have two d&c's as I had retained product that try monitored for over 4weeks yet it stayed firmly stuck! By the time the two procedures had passed and I had recovered from the second one almost three months had passed since we had the horrible scan that told us our baby's heart had stopped. We started trying as soon as we could and were very fortunate to fall pregnant quickly, though I do remember being absolutely terrified of trying again!! Then once I fell pregnant the terror turned to having another mc...as someone else has said, the naievity of thinking that you'll always know when you've miscarried is gone after you learn all about missed miscarriages. I think you'll know when the time is right to try again, for me it was realizing that wanting a bub surpassed my fears so there was only one way forward. I'm 25wks now and so far so good....huge hug for you, hang in there xx
