Aww ladies it's so inspiring that some of you are UTD! And to hear that Tan is almost due, helps with the positivity :)
Yes everything definitely adds up cost wise, I'm too scared to think how much I've spent between supplements, and two private hospital procedures in Oz not covered by health insurance....in going to go to acupuncture and see how I go ad how frequently she recommends. I could probably handle every two weeks for a bit but I think weekly I might have to reconsider. How you feeling today agirl?

Pleased you've got your appointment soon a.girl, and that you got some more accurate information! Thinking of all you lovely ladies, including you charly, animax and Mac. I hadn't really thought of acupuncture for fertility but it helped with some back problems that I had.

I posted in the 2ww that I got a very faint pos this morning (10dpo). I'm terrified! Doesn't help that it's the hols for me so is completely consuming my mind! It is so faint that I'm worried I'll wake up tomorrow and it'll be gone! Ah well nothing I can do except be very grateful that I've got over the first hurdle!

Woke up early and tested again hoping for a reassuring line and it is barely visible. Not looking good :(.

Waited a few hrs and did another test which was darker. I drank heaps of water before bed so maybe that affects it?? Anyway i decided instead of driving myself nuts I'll go and get a BT. Then i can get the second on fri and be put out of my misery by the weekend!

Good idea bub2014. I made dh hide the hpts after I got my bfp. No use adding extra stess! There are some many variables with the darkness of hpts.

Thanks a.girl. I'm feeling a bit better about things. I put a pic of the HPTs in the 2WW forum in case anyone is interested lol. I changed my ticker- I know it is too early but I might as well enjoy imagining while I can lol :)

Thanks :). Yes had one today. I expect it to be very low considering how faint the HPTs were but what I want reassurance of is the doubling! However I forgot it is ANZAC day on Fri and so I won't be able to get a test 48 hrs later!! *sigh*. Have booked to get one on Monday. This is the first proper month trying since the MC yeah, so I'm grateful that I have a pos so quickly. But PLEASE be a sticky one!!!!!!!!

Everything crossed for a sticky one bubs!!! And the waiting game begins hey....;) Am thinking of you.
AFM, my AF is very short since mc - only two days of decent flow. Has anyone else had anything similar? So this month will be the first month since the two d&c's that we TTC! Pretty exciting (and terrifying!)

Yup. My af is hardly anything after a mc. Not even a day of decent flow. Quite a few of us have experienced really light af after a mc. I'm sure it's fine :-)

Oh thanks agirl. I've turned into a bundle of nerves and anxiety with all this. Do you have any more appointments etc agirl? Will you have follow up scan or anything after d&c? X

I think I am actually more relaxed and at peace with ttc now than I ever have been. I think I have finally accepted that this is totally out of my hands no matter how much I stress or worry. With regards to the light af, I was so concerned that I asked my specialist and he hardly gave it a second thought. And I got utd twice with them light like that.

My apt with the obgyn fertility specialist is next Wednesday. I'm surprised that I haven't had any follow up apts since the mc, but I guess being number 3 they assume I know when to seek help if my body isn't doing what it should. Funny though. .. with the medical management, I always had follow up hcgs til it was down to 5. I'mjjust using hpts now.

Mac, are you going to get any tests done?

Oh that's really good to hear agirl, and will prob do you the world of good to not be as stressed etc. best of luck next Wed, ill be thinking of you. Yes come to think f it all my follow up appointments only came about as I had ongoing pain which needed antibiotics etc etc....
I don't think I will get any tests as it may be difficult as I've had the one mc. My gyn who did my procedures suggested TTC and if I have problems then get tests etc.
I've been on folic acid since the last pregnancy and pregnancy vitamins, none of which I was on before conceiving last time. I know it's not a big help if something's wrong but I feel a bit more 'ready' now if that makes sense. I'm also starting acupuncture....but you're right agirl, ultimately it is out of our control....

Congrats bubs awesome news!

As for me I'm a bit down after bfn for first cycle ttc after the mc. Trying to be patient but I feel I'm owed a quick bfp now ! Bit concerned about my cycle. I ovulated right on time for me at cd 15 but now two days late with only extremely light spotting. Seems weird to o on time and then have late af. Has anyone got a longer luteal period since mc?

Sorry bout the bfn Seaview :-( hopefully your rainbow baby is just around the corner! I definitely had a longer lp after my mc last June. I was so irritated cause every month it was long I thought for sure I was utd. I think a woman's body changes big time after a pregnancy. .. I know I felt ov more, had lighter af, had my cycle lengths vary, etc. I just think you gotta roll with the punches and only worry if you aren't ovulating or your cycles are really out of wack.

My AF since mc is relatively light too. I have one day spotting, second day is moderate then next day light and pretty much nothing after that. Except maybe spot for a day after. My cycles went straight into 28 day cycles. I didn't OPK first cycle after d&c, but AF arrived cd28. Then second cycle post d&c I did OPKs and got positive OPK on cd 13 and AF on cd 27. This cycle did OPKs too and positive OPK on cd 12. I'm now on cd18 in the TWW. So hopefully she doesn't come this time! So sorry my luteal phase was around the same.
