Stay safe NZVeg!!! Looks pretty scary! xx Wow HT you are doing awesome! Sorry I've been MIA. So much is happening at the mo. Work has been insane with end of financial year and home life has also been nuts. DD turns two on Tuesday so been getting her prezzies etc ready. Anyway I have been going hard at the gym too. I did my first RPM (spin) class on Tuesday and almost died. It was hard...but so awesome at the same time :-) Weigh in yesterday was 66.0kgs. Getting there slowly...but I will get there :-) Hope you all have a fab weekend xx

Great work misssara Sounds very busy at your place. My boys are turning 4 and 3 next week and I haven't got presents yet. One is on Easter Thursday and the other on Easter Monday. We will have an extended family dinner for them on Easter Sunday. It will be a high voltage weekend, that's for sure.

I've been so slack at keeping up, it looks like every one is doing well. Tomorrow is my proper weigh in, but I was 63.9 this morning, which is 1.6kg off since I started using MFP 14 days ago. I think the metformin is making such a difference, as I've NEVER had such good weight loss, even with reduced calories. It took 18months and serious gymming and good diet to lose 4kg last time. Since I'm heading nicely to 60, I'm going to try to push for 58kg which is where I got to last time, and really work on getting my tone back. I'm feeling really, really, good! I'm not feeling hungry, I'm still indulging in things I enjoy, but just working on eating better and trying to get started on some good habits so once I'm down, I can maintain without too much worry. Misssara, RPM is amazing, keep at it, you'll get better and stronger every time and learn how to push yourself :) to every one else!!

Well I survived the storm. However been having a bad couple of eating days and no exercise because of storm (everything closed and can't go running). Will be happy to maintain my weight this week! We shall see what tomorrow brings. You other ladies are doing so well! You hit that magical 20kg mark HT and you just keep on going?? Have you had to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes yet?

I'm glad to hear that you kept safe in the storm. Is there much damage? I wish I could buy a whole new wardrobe... everything is like a sack. I work 3 days a week for 3 hours a day at the local kindy where the kids play so at least my clothes are still good for getting covered in paint and the kids don't care that it looks as though I am dressing in a tent I have bought new underwear, new tank tops, new leggings etc as everything was falling down or out when I moved. I will sew some seams in on my old clothes but will have to shop at some point. All my old jeans that I wore after giving birth to my second are falling off too. First world problems
I have been eating more than usual in the last couple of days although I have kept the hammer down on the exercise. I think it is the build up to AF. I don't know why but I can hold anywhere between 400g to 1 kg of extra weight from now until about 3 days after it arrives.

I feel you on the fluid retention HT, sometimes I have had upwards of 2kg from O until just after AF. This month it seems ok, I credit it to the acupuncture and probably metformin adjusting my hormones slightly?
That's good you're seeing the change in your clothes! New leggings and tanks etc are a good start in the mean time until you can shop :)
I'm wearing jeans today that 5 weeks I couldn't even get up my thighs properly, yet alone do up, so thats good. I'm lucky that my frame means a kilo or so is usually a pant size, so not much longer and hopefully most of my jeans etc will fit well again. Even my DH is impressed how quickly it is coming off and how well I'm doing.
Aiming to head to RPM tomorrow morning.

Ahhhh, last week's 97 was a blip. I'm back at 98.8. A bit gutting really as I'm exercising really well. Oh well, please let it be bloat that all magically fades away this week.

This morning's weigh-in was 75.0 kgs. Which, considering how exhausted I've been the last week is pretty good - at least it's going down!

I hear you girls on the increase in weight around AF. I get a good kilo that comes out of nowhere and then fades just as quickly… but I do also eat more in the lead up to AF which sometimes means it ends up ebing more than just a kilo So good to hear that you have noticed a massive difference in your size (not just weight). A pity that more clothes aren't on the agenda just yet but I'm sure when you do get more it will feel fantastic! The storm was a bit of whitewash after all the hype (where I live anyway). Basically there was a LOT of rain and not much else. So lots of surface flooding but this is the wet tropics so the land is kind of used to it. The rivers etc have already gone down heaps. We live on the edge of a lake and I think it's gone up around 2-3m….. maybe even more. It's hard to tell because I can't remember exactly where the water level was as it all looks so different now. So impressive for 24 hours of rain!!! And it's a big lake so that's a lot of water! Oh and my weigh in was 74.6 so thats 100g loss…. I'l take it seeing as I haven't exercised for 5 days and ate more than I should have on about 3 of those days! Back into today though… went to my circuit training class!!!

Well shot down 800 grams this morning. I hope this is not a period of big dips and highs. Normally I'm pretty consistent so I'm trying to figure out why I'm having these swings.

Well done HT! Don't know why your weight is bouncing around - though mine likes to bounce around a lot. Also, if I have chinese takeaways I seem to bloat up 1kg with fluid retention (maybe a mix of sodium and MSG??)

After an Easter of no bike and eggs I am dreading get back on the scales. It is the first time I have let myself eat over my calories for three or four days straight since Christmas. Hmmm. I hope you have had Happy Easter's, look forward to catching up soon.

I weighed in…. Maintained my weight. Which considering it's easter I'm ok with but it's the second week in a row! On the plus. I started an 8 week healthy lifestyle challenge today. Had a personal training session and know somoene in real life knows of my goal to lose 4.8kg!!! So that will make it even easier.
