With ttc#2 I didn't bother using the ovuview I used a clearblue digital ovulation kit and taking temps as I have an irregular cycle.

For a 28cycle Ov is generally around day 14.

Goodluck

    Author: Bky
Subject: 41780
Posted: 29 March 2012 at 10:28am

I did for TTC#1. I honestly found it unreliable for predicting ovulation. The ferning is based on your oestrogen levels so you can get patches throughout the month regardless of when you are ovulating or not. I'd sometimes get ferning patches right after my temperature told me I'd ovulated, before AF, during AF and other times. While higher oestrogen does go with impending ovulation what's really important for ovulation is lutenizing hormone which you can track with ovulation predictor kits. Tracking your CM and taking your temperature are much more accurate for predicting and confirming ovulation in my experience.
All that said, the extra sex won't hurt. We found a pattern of at least every other day from around CD7-10 to after ovulation was effective (I tended to ovulate on CD18 or so).

Edited by Bky

I've been testing saliva for a week or so now...JUUUST starting to see the 'transitional ferning' today, on day7...yay! Seems a bit early to me, but oh well. Will start BD every day then, til the 'ferns' are gone! hehe.

I think this is going to be useful - my cycle is a regular 28 day one, but I wouldn't have any idea of when ov is happening...

Anyone got any stories?

Pickies
