Haha Storm I'm kind of symptom spotting already - felt a bit sick this morning and my mind started leaping wildly - so ridiculous! That's ok Epic. I already had some Vit B so have started taking them and given the Vitex a break till beginning of next cycle.
I have no idea where I am LOL We aren't officially trying till next cycle, so will probably pop back over to the TWW thread when I do

Oh I hope this is your month Epic! Give it another 5 days (or less LOL) and you will be back to symptom spotting! Storm I can't remember which one it was, but it was one for women trying to conceive and it had the whole range of B vitamins. Sorry I can't be more help! Where abouts are you at the moment? TWW? Thanks for the vitex info, and twinkelrose I think maybe I will take it till I "think" I OV and then take a Vit B6. Epic, which Vitamin compound did you take?

Twinkle - that's amazing the difference in days the vitex has made! I have usually been having 38/39 day cycle with OV happening on CD 26/27... so only 9-10days LP which is just not long enough! Last 2-3 months my cycles have been 34/35 days long, and I think (as not charting at the mo) OV has been happening around CD20

Hey Storm, I am on my third month taking Vitex. So far I have been taking it from CD1 - OV. 2-3 tablets a day. It has brought my OV forward from CD27 to CD17 to CD15, and also made my LP go from 9 days to 12 days to 13 days :)

Storm!!! I was just thinking about you earlier today and wondering how you were doing! So glad to see you back here! (Even if I wish I wasn't here to see you lol)

Vitex... my understanding is that you only take it from AF to ov and then don't take it. Vitamin B6 is supposed to lengthen your luteal phase, I took a Vitamin compound after I had a short luteal phase one month and ever since then my LP has been normal.

As for bringing on ov early (since I remember you have long cycles like me!) I'm currently trying soy isoflavones to bring my ov earlier (last month it wasn't until CD33). Watch this space for whether it worked or not!

Hi ladies!

Sorry if there is a post about this here somewhere... but am hoping you "informative" ladies can answer my question....

I have been "on a break" from TTC and DH and I are going to get back into it after this current cycle and I have been "preparing" myself for it by taking Vitex to help lengthen my LP. Now the question is, how long in my cycle do I take them for?

I have read conflicting advice and am unsure who to now ask. Some say take it all the way through the cycle, even early stages of pregnancy, and some say stop when you OV, which I don't actually know when that will be this month as i'm not charting, and some say to not even take it during AF! ???

Anyone have any clue?
