Topic: Another TMI question Posted: 28 February 2008 at 9:30am |
Hiya
I am 4 days overdue now and this morning I noticed alot of egg whitey brownish discharge, which was gone after two wipes (sorry but I warned you it was TMI). Did anyone experience this in the lead up to birth, I'm not sure if I should ring my mw or not as I don't have any other symptoms happening yet, but would like to know if this is normal and if I should worry or not. I don't think its "the show" cos everyone says you will know and I don't think there was enough discharge to say that, that was it. IYKWIM

Thanks guys, I am getting quite excited now. I rang the midwife and she said it sounded like a show, will see her in a couple of hours, but she did say it could still be a week or two away, but I hope not, I am hoping that it will be tonight or tomorrow, but we'll see.

Yep that was a show. Hopefully you'll go into labour in the next 48 hours (but that's not definite)

12 shows and 3 days later I finally went into labour! My m/w said the same, labour could be weeks away, thank god it wasn't!
Good luck!
