Thanks for converting the weight for me too, as my brain is so mashed I couldn't do the sums. Fay is under phototherapy again today but her bilirubin levels are dropping so I am hoping she will be out of the incubator later today for some more cuddles.
Expressing is a slow job but I managed toexpress a whole ml this morning so proud!!!

Thank you for all you kind words

Claire

Congratulations on your early arrival! She must have been keen to meet mummy and daddy! (or was she just after Christmas pressies?? )

Good to hear she is doing well and hopefully she will be home with you real soon.

Claire I know you'll be really busy but I just wanted to check that everything's okay? since you haven't posted for a couple of days.

I just realised you can't go over and join the December bubs thread... as there is none yet! But Eva was being induced yesterday so it sounds like you'll have company soon

Just quickly to say that Fay came home with us from the neonatal unit this after noon. It's been a tough couple of weeks but she is fine and growing, thankfully no health concerns. She is curently sleeping while Neil and Mum and Dad are out shopping for those last minute things. like bottles and sterilising stuff, that I hadn't even thought about, but hopefully that is only a temporary measure as i am able to feed her more and more each feed.
Fay is gorgeous, i am knackered and neil can't wait to have us all to himself for a few days.
Now the stress is off about breast feeding and I have made the decision that it is not the end of the world if she has the top up of formula, I am really enjoying my little girl, of course she is the most beautiful baby ever, but I am allowed to say that, I will add photos as and when I work out how to do it

Fay is home and we don't seem to have broken her yet, judging by the loud earth splitting screams that were coming from upstairs an hour ago.
thought I would add some photos
Fay on 7/12 at 7am (10 minutes old) The knackered one is me

Fay and Daddy

Fay on 18/12, sneaking out of Neonatal unit, they don't know we have gone yet!!!!!
We have had an amazing 24 hours of neonatal paranoia and sheer delight, can't get used to not having some one telling us it's time to do everything and what order to do it in. I was a rebel earlier and changed her nappy after i had fed her!!!! don't tell anyone they will make me take her back

thanks for everyone's kind words and thoughts

claire
