Could not think where to put this, but we have been looking at getting a new car but, there is no way we can afford one so what I need to know is can you put 3 car seat's in the back of a car we will have 2 5 point harnest booster's and a convertable all would be thethered(SP?) and they all fit ,but someone told me you not aloud to have 3 in the back its this true?.

Not at all! I quite often have three across the middle row of my car when I have other people's kids in my car, and as long as they all fit and are tethered it's all good. The only thing to watch out for is that if you have two carseats and a booster they are jammed in quite tight and it can be a mission to get the booster seat done up coz your hand doesn't fit down in between the carseats.

We can't fit 3 carseats in the back of our car because the contour of the seats on the edges makes the seat space too narrow. The only way to know for sure is to measure first and if still unsure, ask a sales assistant to come out with you and help you check if it will fit in. That way they know you won't just nic it lol

thank you ladies we know they fit along the seat so we are very happy we wont need to a new car too soon.
