   Hi Jess,
Congratulations on the birth. Hoper it wasn't too too terrible. I also had a graze when Lauren was born too as she had her hand up (I think she was waving lol), that pain (if you have any) will go away shortly. I am amazed that you are at home already! Take it easy and if you have heaps of visitors wanting to come over, just remind them that you need some rest too. I was bombarded with so many visitors and I was so tired in thos first few days after coming home.

 Anyway congrats.

Thanks everyone other people wanted to know my birth story so i did a quick one while ella is sleeping and cory is doing dishes:
My labour started at 4.45am on the 18 July, i was having contractions and they were regular at about 10 mins apart, they varied from 8 - 6 mins for the next 15 hours before i went to hospital.
When i arrived i hopped into the hottub and tried to relax as they got more intense, at about 10.30pm i was given pethedine to sleep as i had been up since 4.45am that morning, i woke up half an hour later to more intense contractions so i wandered down the hall to the tub and got in there. At about 2am i hit transition phase with no pain relief, all i had was Cory rubbing my back through the contractions which had a tendancy to come one of top of the other. I needed to pee so got out rather hesitently as whenever i changed position i got more contractions, i wandered down to my room and went loo where i had a contraction while on the loo which wasnt to crash hot, so decided there was no way i would make it back to the hot tub in one piece. I stayed in my room bent over the bed, had some really strong contractions that were at the point of being unbearable (no pain relief) when i felt this urge to push. My midwife said to go for it and i did, to recieve a gush of waters. After that contraction the next one came along about 1 minute later and i started pushing at 2.30am and my big baby was out at 2.42am took 12 mins to push her out. She came out with her hand on her face which gave me a graze but otherwise no tears no stitches nothing Who thought anyone could have so much love for someone huh? I love her so much its insane!! Cant stop looking at her hehe

   Heya Jess... she's absolutely gorgeous!!!
Just wanted to say that I had exactly the same problem with my milk (have ranted many a time before!). Mine wasn't anything to do with PCOS, but I can definitely relate. I don't know if it makes any difference, the pumping might be doing a brilliant job, but I was advised to put Hannah on the breast (even though there was little to nothing) for 5 minutes at a time to stimulate milk production. On day three my milk came in, and boy did it come in!!! But the days up until then were absolute hell. It hurt like a mo fo to feed (and I got blood blisters on my nipples) but I think actually having Hannah on the breast made the hormones work better to allow milk to come in. This might be absolute garbage but may be something else you could try?

Other than that, good luck! I say persevere with the breast thing as tho it hurts for the first few weeks, it is quite cool (and cheap and easy) after that. (Altho don't want to come across as a complete breastfeeding nazi, bottle feeding is perfectly fine as an alternative!)

Well done on no pain relief too! And only 12 minutes of pushing!!! Extra big congrats!!

P.S. Forgot to mention that I had to give formula top ups to Hannah too... then proceeded to breastfeed for 13 months. (My lactation consultant didn't have much faith in me.)
