Yay for the cloth nappies Milo, cloth is awesome! Wow your first TM purchase, I have like over 200 trades I think.
I love both those things LittleN, the Neocate and the Safe T Sleep  ... oh and I was lurking after your last paed appointment and you said you had him tested for allergies. If it comes back clear, don't rule them out completely. Sylvie tested negative for allergies but our paed said RAST tests can be unreliable for under-1-year-olds, it is usually better to look at the symptoms at this age.
That is great he took the Neocate so easily as apparently it doesn't taste the greatest (I'm too chicken to try it  ) ... but as our paed said, they know when something is good for them (but unfortunately they also know when something is bad for them, hence feeding issues being a giveaway for allergies/intolerances).
Chocka block week of playdates etc - being a SAHM is so social sometimes!

Anakk, yeah his allergy tests didn't show anything but the paed said it might just not be showing up so that's good as I was so scared they wouldn't do anything else. Basically he said it's not normal or good for a baby to be throwing up as much has he does so we need to get to the bottom of it. I have always had a feeling it's a milk allergy/intolerance and it runs in DH's family so here's hoping we're on the right track now. Cos if not he'll have to have some much more invasive tests at hospital to see if he might have a hiatus hernia or if there's damage to his oesophagus so hopefully it doesn't come to that, blood test was bad enough

Hmmm ... my gorgeous little girl seems to be as big as the boys. She was born on the 50% line and now she's up to the 91%. She is such a charmer too - smiles for the PN (I smiled too when I got 'excellent care' written in my book again) and the Doctor today and only took a minute or 2 to get over the immunisations and then she was back to smiling. Now she's having a sleep. Yah for her - although last time it was the day after that she was very grizzly.
As for routine - yes, we get a morning and afternoon nap and she sleeps well at night (waking only once some time between 2:30 and 5am). But the actual time isn't consistant. We're a pretty busy pair most days so she just cruises along and naps in the car or in her stroller. I'm not too bothered about her not sleeping through the night although the PN has suggested a dream feed when I go to bed to see that encourages her to sleep through.
Also, because Kenzie is showing interest in food and sticking her hands in her mouth my PN has suggested giving her fruit to suck on and get her used to different flavours - before starting her on solids. Anyone else had this? Suggestions for how to go about this - do I just cut it in quarters and then give it to her?
We had a Safe T Sleep too and it's reassuring that Kenzie stays in the same spot and not ending up dangling between the cot bars. I think they're great.
Tried to ring about Space but no one phoned me back.
Was meant to go to a baby massage class with Sandie yesterday - but I spun out in my car on my way there. I was pretty shaken up but Kenzie slept though it so it wasn't that bad ... the car had to be towed though.
Ok, novel over.

CL - I made a stupid decision in the wet to keep going through an orange light instead of slamming on my breaks to stop (which I though would result in me spinning). Ended up going round the corner too fast and heading towards the line of traffic waiting for the lights to change, so over compensated and spun 180 and went up the guttering and the car was fully on the foot path. Not sure the extent of damage to the car just really pleased that no one was hurt. The car is being assesed - thank goodness for insurance. Kenzie wasn't even fazed by it.

Oh Sarah that sounds very scary, so glad no one was hurt. Yesterdays weather was so horrible I know when hubby left for work I gave a huge lecture on drive careful on the way into town.
Arrrgh someone tell me how to change my girl back to her old ways??? She was sleeping 10pm to 5am and now she is waking at 2am

sarah that sounds so scary! i always worry about getting into a car accident with Maddy in the car..so glad you are all ok and Kenzie wasnt phased by it 
CL Maddy did that too for a bit, had got into a lovely wee pattern of sleeping all night, then out of the blue started waking again.. last night she slept 10-7 tho so heres hoping that continues! my plunket lady told me that around 3 months they have a huge growth spurt that can last a couple of weeks! and they may start waking in the night heaps and wanting to cluster feed alot again too..but it should calm down after 2 weeks or so..
had a fantastic few days with an old school mate- we havent really caught up properly for years and years, other than the very odd cuppa at their house for an hour when passing through their town etc (like once every 3 years!) so she stayed with me for a few nights and we literally did nothing but talk! haha even at the time we were saying "wow we can talk a lot!"but i guess after a good 10 years of no proper catch ups theres ALOT to talk about!! dropped her off yesterday at the airport- will miss her! Maddy LOVED her tho, was so cute shes a very sociable wee thing but really got chatting and smiling with her "Aunty" it was really sweet 
busy day ahead so will go for now but ill read back through what ive missed etc later on.

hey all! Sarah that would have been freaky! I spun out once on a motorway onramp when I was a teenager (in my giant cortina stationwagon) went round twice and ended up facing the wrong way on the onramp just as a cp car came round the corner - he had been behind me and was really nice (I was doing under the speedlimit but there was a big black puddle of oil on the road that I didnt see in the wet. I drive like such a nana in the wet now!
Well we went back to plunket yesterday and Lili has gone from 5.06 to 5.25 in 5 days.....I suggested to the plunket nurse that perhaps because she had been weighed at northcote plunket and then at glenfield that maybe I wasn't malnourishing my child and in fact it might be a difference in scales but thanks for making me feel like crap for 5 days. Thank you to everyone here for all the support - it really made a difference over the weekend :)
Poor Lili has a cold, I had to wake her up at 3 this morning because her nose was snortling so loud I couldnt sleep so I cleared it with the saline and puffer thingy, feed her and back to bed. She is still asleep, hopefully recovering - yay for karvol too. Her doctor gave us a huge tub of soap substitute and huge tub of moisturiser for babies - its goign to last all year looking at the size of it! but yay for free stuff!

Yay eco that the scales went up. Did your plunket nurse appreciate the obvious being pointed out to her?
Soda I hope she sorts herself again as the wake ups are giving me headaches again. Since being so ill any loud noises, bright light set off a headache it totally sucks. I don't like taking the meds as they cause constipation.
Yay I pick up a exersaucer today, borrowing it off a mate to see how Holle likes it. I also bought a Jolly Jumper off tm just waiting to see when can pick it up. Am so annoyed, trader is away not sure when she gets back. Why have trade on TM if you are going away????

Eco - you know your baby better than anyone - so pleased you've been able to prove that
Sleeping patterns are a mystery to me ... but getting up once in the night isn't too bad (for me - but I don't have any other kids demanding my energy levels during the day).
