do tapas? I love tapas, there is a place in hanmer that do them and we go thier everytime and the ladies talking about it in the other thread got me thinking bout them.... anyone know of a restaurant here that do them?

yes robyn...there's a few i think.....a couple of places down the strip do tapas, (tap room does i think)
if you have a look in the yellow pages, there a couple of restaurants that mention tapas
yum!!!!

anything really. The place i went to in hanmer have things from huge chunky wedges to meatballs, mini kebabs etc... and its not all finger like you could get the meatballs and you put it on your plate. we also had stuffed mushrooms, some fish cake things and heaps of other stuff. You generally get about 4-5 pieces of each thing(except the wedges of course) its great if there are a group of you so you can try different things. The Rustic Cafe (hanmer place) also do tapas for cocktails (yuuuummmmyyy) and desserts (double yummmmyyy) they have this dessert where they wrap bananas in filo pastry and then dip it into a cinnamon sugar coating, its heaven.
