My legs are hurting quite a bit now. think I might need to start swimming as I am finding walking is wearing me out big time Yoga is still good, but tummy is starting to get in the way.

Welcome Wellsini!
Is anyone else getting a tight, stretching feeling across their upper abdomen/side? I have been getting this at night only on the left side for the past couple of weeks. Very odd!
Weekend is over Four months approx and then everyday is as weekend... Yay!!!!!

melnel - I have had similar pains on and off, but definately feels like stretchig of the uterus as it grows.
But last week I had horrible pains on my right side and upper abdomen that felt like a 'stitch'...like after exercise as a kid lol....lasted the evening and night, but all ok now.
I am getting sick of my mw mucking up appointment times. I really need to double check what she writes in my book. Twice now she has written the day of the week, but the wrong date.
And I just got a txt now saying I had missed my 11am appt today....I had on my calender that its for tomorrw.
So I go check the book she wrote in and it says Monday 11th. I had obviously just seen the 11th and put it on the calender. So I phone her and she wants me to come in on Wednesday, so only a couple days. But I had arranged my other appointments around this for tomorrow.....like my diabetic appt at the hospital and a dentist appt also....so now I will have to twiddle my thumbs between appt's because it will be too much running around for me to go home, then to go back out again....grrrr
I will double check the day and date before I leave on wednesday!!
As I've got a doppler at home, I'm not as anxious to see her. And I'm already under the antenatal diabetic team so don't need to do the poas thing...unless she needs it for her records. Oh, but I'll need to referral for the anatomy scan that I've booked for next week...hehe I can't wait!!

Cant wait to see your wedding pics, congrats on joining the OMT club
Nerfititi, that is kind of what my pains feel like. A stitch would be the closest thing I can think to describe what it feels like. Its only at night, so I am wondering if its when my stomach is full and stretching the skin there?
I am feeling really heavy and slow at the moment. I am hereby swearing to make sure I lose weight before baby number 2! I am only going to get bigger and I already feel huge! Really need to start swimming to build me stamina and strength back up. Too much veging on the couch has be going on in the house of late. I feel awful!
Well thats my moan over, hope everyone has a fantabulous monday. Might go and see if my SS has posted in the SS thread yet.......

I'm having those pains too. They start in the afternoon and last into the evening. Usually feels better once I lie down -- which I'd be doing all the time if I could!
Speaking of which, I've vowed to start going to bed earlier as I'm always so tired and find it so hard to get out of bed in the mornings and off to work.
Hopefully some extra sleep will help a bit.

Hi everyone - havent posted here for a bit - been lurching. I have my 19 week scan tomorrow and I am finding out the sex with DH - I have a preference but I guess its not really up to me! Then the real shopping will begin!!!
One small question though - I havent felt anything yet - nothing that I can tell anyway - I keep waiting - I think thats pretty normal, but Im impatient. Other mums have told me a million different movement 'feelings' - so I am on high alert.
Great to see the list of April-ites has gotten so big.

Its hard, cos when its your first you just dont know for sure it is bubs moving about. Sometimes its just wind!

I'm only getting some flutterings.....which I think is happening later this pregnancy because I am bigger than what I was previously :(
I am seeing a new midwife today. I'm still not happy with my current one. And last night was talking to a friend who told me about a friend of hers who had a bad experience with a midwife during labour and postnatally....and I was shocked (but not surprised) to hear it was the same one I currently have. I've been having 2nd thoughts about my mw for quite a few weeks now, and last night confirmed I really need another one. So of to meet new one today, and she comes highly recommended by my friend who had her baby on Friday.

Sooze - beautiful dress and picture (and Bride of course - being pregnant suits you)
Having anatomy scan 5th Dec, Second MW appointment 8th Dec and first Obstetricians appointment 10th Dec (to discuss whether it is is likely I will be able to give birth naturally having had a completely failed induction followed by a cesearean last time)
Had the maternal serum test done last week - results are supposed to be available late this week. Kinda nervous but have decided not to have an amnio whatever the test says.
Hope everyone has a good week.
